And Saturday was Talk Like A Pirate Day.
And on Saturday, I got new shoes, and I had to give up the trusty Converses that I have had for the last two years and two months. The old ones were all drawn on and written on and geometry-formula-ified and colored in and fraying around the seam by the sole and everything, but the new ones are kind of nice. They're turquoise with layered yellow, pink, blue, yellow, purple, and pink, in that order, around the edges. And pinky purple laces. And they're freaking new. It's going to take a while to get used to them. But, on the other hand, I have another two years and two months (probably more) to write lyrics and algebra/ precalculus/ trigonometry (maybe) formulas on the toes and runes and mazes on the inside of the foot and color in the crosshatch thingies on the way front of the toes.
And, on Saturday (again), I got yarn. YAY YARN!!!!!!!
Needles + yarn + pencils + paper = my entire life so far.
I am NOT kidding.
And on Saturday night, me and my mom and our neighbor and her dog went up to the basketball court on the elementary school near our house and looked at the stars. It was quite fun, actually.
But, on Sunday, I had to acolyte. It was okay. All the candles got lit fine. And then I had to work. Which wasn't fun. Not really, anyway. Which means, of course, I couldn't journal and do all the stuff I like to do. Which means, of course, I wasn't all that happy when I was working, because of not being able to do anything fun. I am DEFENITELY not working at the pool next summer. Except for the part when I got paid many hundreds of dollars on my last paycheck.
I gotta go now, though.

back again.
I know I haven't posted in five days. I know it's 9:32 at night and I'm freaking tired because I had homework right after a really long, boring, and, frankly, rather stupid Girl Scout function thing. I know that I'm really going to be pessimistic in this entire post. But I wanted to say that I AM still here, however absent I have been over the last five days.
And I really wish my mom would get off my back about homework. I'm DONE, okay, mom? Or is DONE not in your vocabulary?
I'm excited about the Renn Fest.
This is the end of the post.
The end.
