new phone!

Well, in a sort of random enterprise on my mom's part, I now have a new cell phone. My brother's phone broke, and I guess they went to get a new one, and cashed in on that whole have-a-phone-for-2-years-and-we-will-give-you-a-free-phone thing on his, and somehow we both got new phones. I'm not complaining. Well, I sort of am. I liked my old phone. But I also like the new phone. It'll just be hard to adjust to having a keyboard on the phone, because my old one didn't have one. So I'm going to have to adjust to having the letters in a totally different place on a phone than normal. But I like the new phone, though. It's got a touch screen. And it's blue, which is my favorite color. And it's NEW, which is the thing I like most. I've dropped my old phone countless times, at which point the battery fell out, so both the phone and the battery are kind of beaten up.

It's kind of awkward, though, because I charged my old phone last night, not knowing I was going to get a new one, so I still had full battery when I got the new phone.

My mom just randomly texted me this afternoon and was like, "So, do you want a new phone?" So I said okay, and now I have a new cell phone. Hooray!

Another story.....

Well, I started a story in English/ Creative Writing a few days ago, but I'm not posting it yet. Why? Because I don't want to post it until it is done, because I do not know where it is going. That and the fact that I often edit stuff when the story goes from paper to screen, so it would just be confusing for me. So that is why I am not posting the story just yet. But I like it. Yes, there are magical creatures in it. Yes, there is romance (sort of, anyway). Yes, it involves people going on quests for other people. But, on the other hand, there is a girl as the main character. How many times has that happened in my stories? Oh, I do not know, maybe the main character is a girl in EVERY ONE OF MY STORIES. Why might that be? Oh, right. I'm a girl. I know that there are a lot of female authors who can easily do a guy as the main character, but I'm not one of them. I don't understand a guy's brain enough to do that. I know that guys are people too, but when they're at my age, they count as an entirely different species. In other news, I have to go to class soon. But I'm going to stay here for a little while longer because I don't have to go just yet. I love free blocks. But I'll have to leave soon because my TA actually has a class.
