Well, the title basically said it. I went to see "unhealthy to be unpleasant" at my school, and it was officially one of the funniest plays ever. Even funnier than "boys and ghouls" last year, which I was in. It was rather amazing. But then, it had the amazing eighth grader whose name shall not be disclosed (ask me if you want to know who it was), who is the best crazy lady ever. And of course, it was directed by the amazing senior whose name will need to be asked of me if you want to know who it was, who is crazy funny, so it works out. We had the amazing eighth grader in "boys and ghouls", and she was the crazy witch grandma. I was the robot. It was rather amazing. And we both got to do crazy voices. Well, SHE got to do a crazy voice. I got to do monotone. Which is really boring. But I had the FUNNEST (YES I KNOW FUNNEST ISN'T A WORD BUT I'M USING IT ANYWAY) part ever. Because I was a freaking ROBOT!!! And I got to break down a lot because I was around five generations old and I was technically a Frankenstein monster test run. And I was supposed to be a guy, technically. But a GUY couldn't do half the things that I ended up doing with my hair, so it worked out. AND they somehow managed to incorporate the coffin we had in "boys and ghouls" into "unhealthy to be unpleasant", which was rather hilarious. Another girl who was in "boys and ghouls" and I had a random OMG moment when we saw it come out, because it was like, WOAH, because neither of us thought that we'd ever see it again. It was rather amazing.
I'm currently listening to "footloose" on my iPod, which is the awesomest song ever. I want to get up and do the choreography that I had to learn in 6th grade when we did it for the summer chorus concert.
I'm trying to tell you it will if you don't even try you can fly if you'd only cut loose footloose kick off your sunday shoes please louise get me off of my knees...
hahahaha I LOVE that song.
*random flingie-arm-random-spazzy-dance-moment!!!!*
Well, I'm really packed with knitting right now. I'm working on a vest/jacket type thing for my cousin's wedding over the summer, and I'm knitting a pair of gloves for the play.
Now I'm listening to The Boxer by Carbon Leaf. It is a rather amazing song. She is the boxer she knows when and where to strike he is the boxer he knows no peaceful city tonight...
Sorry. That's another song I love rather a lot. Mind you, there's about fifty songs that I love rather a lot. I love music in general. Unless it's metal or rap or soul or blues or anything that my brother likes. Because the music my brother likes isn't really music. It's more like people yelling about sex and drugs and whores to a beat. And metal is people yelling unintelligably to unintelligible guitar chords. I have to go now. Bed.

antholio
okay, TODAY is the antholio day because TODAY I actually have the sheet on which the rubric is given for THE ANTHOLIOS!!!
So the antholio I'm going to start with is the one about artistic representation of the language. So I'm going to find some quotes and then I'm going to put them on a sheet of paper (here meaning on the blog and then copy and paste them later) and then I'm going to decide which of the other artistic representations I'm going to do. Definately not the one with the CD because my itunes gift card only has 39 cents left on it. So I'm goinng to do..................................something that I will decide once I have quotes!!!
Okay. So quotes:
An eye for an eye leaves everybody blind.~Ghandi Hate the sin and love the sinner.~Ghandi First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win. ~Ghandi (that's my new favorite quote of all time) My grandfather once told me that there are two kinds of people: those who work and those who take the credit. He told me to be in the first group, there was less competition there. ~Indira Gandhi You have to dream before your dreams can come true.~Abdul Kalam Unless India stands up to the world, no one will respect us. Fear has no place in the world. Ony strength respects strength. ~Abdul Kalam You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.~Bhudda Three things cannot be long hidden-the sun, the moon, and the truth. ~Bhudda We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.~Bhudda You cannot travel the path until you have become th path itself. ~Bhudda The only secret of existence is to have no fear. Never fear what will become of you, depend on no one. Only the moment you reject all help are you freed. ~Bhudda God does not require us to succeed; He only requires for you to try.~Mother Theresa I know God will not give me anything I can't hande. I just wish He didn't trust me so much. ~Mother Theresa Peace begins with a smile. ~Mother Theresa If you want to make peace, don't talk to your friends. Talk to your enemies. ~Mother Theresa If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one.~Mother Theresa It is a kingly act to assist the fallen. ~Mother Theresa You can never enter the same river twice. ~proverb (even though it was used in Pocahontas) Blaming your faults on your nature does not change the nature of your faults. ~proverb Do not blame God for creating the tiger, but thank Him for not giving it wings. ~proverb If you want to go east, don't go west. ~Ramakrishna Work, apart from devotion or love of God, is helpless and cannot stand alone. ~Ramakrishna All the flowers of tomorrow come from the seeds of today.~proverb A smile you sent, will always return.~proverb To watch us dance is to hear our heart speak~proverb
that's all the decent quotes I could find. So now to decide what the next bit is going to be. But NOOOOOO now it's time for dinner.
Me and my mom are going to a play at my school soon so I'd better go.
I WILL finish!!

roooooooaaaaaaar-rants about my annoying life
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! I really feel like a piece of s***t right now. I really need to take control of my life because my mom is currently dominating the entire scene. Really. I mean, most kid's parents would be okay with them being like, "hey, can I do this camp instead of that camp?" or something. Well, my mom's not THAT intimidating, but she still can be scary.
My mom is seriously domineering, though, when she wants to be. I've pretty much been doing what she wants because I'm kind of sort of scared of her. She's intimidating. Really intimidating. And because of that, since the age of about seven I've never really wanted to stand up to her for fear of intimidation from her and disappointment on both sides. I feel like I need to take control of something, but I've never had the guts to even raise my hand in class until I was sure of the answer, and by then someone else was sure of the answer and had risen their hand because that's what other people do.
I don't want other people to control my life. But I'm scared of being in control because I'm sure I'll mess up on something. The only thing I seem to be able to control with minimal mistakes is knitting, and that's only because I don't trust myself to do interesting stitches. That's why I'm SO freaked out about this thing I'm knitting for my cousin's wedding. I'm so scared I'm going to seriously mess up on something and then not figure out what went wrong until I've done another thirty two rows. I'm SO LAME!!!!!
I don't really know why I can't seem to trust myself. I'm a dreamer, but nothing more. Seriously. I can only dream of stuff I wish I could do and never seem to take initiative for doing it. That's probably because of the fact that I'm really intimidated by everyone else. I don't know why I'm suddenly so insecure about it, either. Sheesh. I'm more lame than I thought, and that's saying something.
I have to go eat lunch now.
But I don't want to.
So I'm not going to.
But seriously. My mom takes a lot of safety measures to which I can see the point some of the time. But not all of the time. I used to be so scared of doing anything that she wouldn't like that I wasn't able to stick up for myself. So I sort of did some stuff behind her back. Like this. She didn't know about this until I told her, which was after I set the blog up. And I cuss sometimes at school. I used to be so freaked out about it, but now it's not such a big deal. All my friends do it. The only cuss word that I haven't said is the "f" word. Besides, sometimes cussing makes the situation a whole lot funnier. Which is most of the reason why my friends cuss a lot. Because our TA's quote book wouldn't be so full of funny quotes if half the people hadn't used the word "shit" in the sentence. I have only cussed in front of my mother once. It was at a church retreat, and we were both in the room we were supposed to be in, and I said "dammit" because I forgot my toothbrush.
Well, that's all I have time for. Because I'm hungry. And mom's being domineering again. :(.

English notes, part two
I'm back again with the dreaded task of taking notes for English! This time I'm going to be researching a different part of the project. The bit I am working on now is the antholios and they're probably the hardest/most annoying part of the entire project. Except for the actual research. That's probably more annoying than the antholios. But the antholios are harder. But the research is more extensive. The research is more in-depth, but the antholios for this quarter are harder to work on. So anyway, time to figure out which antholio I am going to work on this evening... Whoa, the laptop just super hugely wonked out. I think it's because some of the springs for the keys do not come up entirely, so when I went to open a new tab with "control t" the control key stuck and I guess "control w" is close because it happened like five times when I tried typing in the url to get back here. Anyway, going back to the original question.. You know what? I lost my antholio sheet. And you know what else? My English teacher hasn't posted the revised copy of it on her blackboard page yet. So you know what? I'm not going to be able to do my antholio research this evening. So that means *groan* more reading/notes. What fun!
Alright then....
People of India consider arranged marriage as something great. They consider dating a taboo. They give a lot of importance to family relationships. The parents look after the children, and the children obey their parents. This means that the parents do the matchmaking, and find suitable people from suitable families, so there's basically no chance of marrying outside your religion, caste, social status, or economic class. This protects the couple from the annoyances of different religion, caste or social class. Through marriage two families come in to an alliance, and the families tended to work out the problems in the marriage. The system originated when child marriage went on in India, and children were married off at an early age, sometimes even before puberty. Since the kids could not give valid consent to be married, so the parents said yes or no. The purpose was to prevent them looking for themselves when they were older, like when they were adults, because they might go looking for someone who was unsuitable, meaning from a lower caste or class or status or something. It was a means of preventing them marrying someone outside their race and social status. The arranged marriage system was based on a caste system, and ended up promoting a sense of racism and classicism, and really has no attention to spiritual value. Now child marriages are illegal and the people are free to pick their own partners, but the parents still to enforce the arranged marriages based on what they used to. In fact, some parents would go so far as to feel like if their kid followed their own heart for once it would be a disgrace, and others were willing to go so far as to threaten their child (i.e. no bit of inheritable wealth for YOU, mister). So the offspring end up going along with whoever their parents picked out for them. Even if they end up not liking the person, they'll just bow their head and take it. I guess people don't really want to look like the disgrace or threat or dunce of the family, and they really want that bit of family wealth. According to the divine plan, marriage should happen with the love and consent of those who are getting married. But the parents still do the consenting. Often there is a lot of fear and force going on in the marriage-fear from the kids and force from the adults. Arranged marriages are prevalent among the upper class people, who want to protect their status. Lower class people don't really care all that much about class, but they do it anyway because they have nothing to lose, they want to imitate their superiors because it's one of those times when it is like, "oh, well, they're doing it, so it must be okay" type thing. They do, however, have that bit of the classified section of the newspaper where all the people post stuff, trying to get a date, or in their case, a spouse. It's probably similar to what they have around here. They state all the things that all the arranging parents would want to know (i.e. religion, economic stuff, race, etc) in the ad. Another thing that occurs with Indian arranged marriages is the dowry, even though it's prohibited by law. When there's an arranged marriage, the consent of the people getting married is of little importance (well, that REALLY sucks), but what's rather important is the dowry, which the parents agree on beforehand. It's usually rather large, and so poor girls/orphan girls typically remain unmarried.
Well, my time is up. I'm SO glad today's research is over. :)

another lunchtime blog
Yes, here I am, at lunch, and yeah. So what now? I got the script for Robin Hood. Finally. I have THREE LINES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course, they are said with about twenty other people at the same time, but still. It's better than West Side Story. Well, West Side Story had singing. That's different. If you count the singing, I had more lines in West Side Story. But whatever. I don't care. But man, my friends are looking over the script that my friend has because she's Maid Marian, and they're at a terribly awkward scene. Apparently she has to go on nude. That is fun. We are all sincerely hoping that the director will let her wear something over it. Apparently one of her lines is, "I shall not let that foul thing touch my body when you are here," or something. And then my other friend made a "that is what she said" joke. Man, my friends are SO funny. I wish I was that funny, but I'm WAY too lame. I can't even get a decent enough part to have enough lines for any "that's what she said" jokes. Not that I would want to. But whatever. I didn't get a good look at the script since I was only looking at the two scenes where I showed up. But whatever. I still have the script. So I can look at it later. If I feel like it. When I have to memorize my three lines. got to go.

i am back again
I have exactly fifteen minutes. I said I would clean my room fifteen minutes after I finished my homework, and now I am done with my homework so I have to clean my room in fifteen minutes. So I am going to type as fast as possible. Please excuse any spelling errors, the keyboard on the laptop is really lousy. I am going to go and spellcheck later. So anyway, I want to knit a lot of stuff but I do not know what to knit. So I was thinking that since I only have to go to nine rehearsals for the All Grades Play (Robin Hood), and the fact that I am a townsperson so I do not have to have my costume on super strict guidelines, I was thinking I could knit my costume. It would be freaking awesome, would it not? I could use my scraps ball for the majority of it, since basketball-sized balls of yarn can go rather far, and then I would use variegated yarn for gloves, even though I have absolutely no idea what season this is supposed to be in, and my fingerless gloves really suck, and I am supposed to be a peasant anyway, so I am going to knit gloves. It will be really effective because, once again, I am a peasant. My entire life is due to trying to pay off my debts and I have not got a lot of decent stuff to wear. So I am going to use really lousy-looking yarns to try and look the part. Even though I probably can not. Look the part, I mean. Yeah. Anyway, seven of my precious fifteen minutes have already passed. Oh joy. Anyway, now comes the time when I ask myself what I want to do with my life. Just kidding. Now comes the time when I randomly rant about absolutely nothing. Here meaning, in this case, my hopelessness at designing knitting patterns. So I am really lousy at designing knitting things. For example, I once knitted a fingerless glove. It was black. It was the worst thing ever. Seriously. There were holes between the fingers (even the thumb) and you could tell where the edge of the round was on the fingers (for things like gloves, knitters use double-pointed needles, which lets you work in a seamless circle). And I accidentally did a cable on one of the fingers. So, in short, it was one of the worst things I have ever made. On the other hand, I know a lot of stuff now about how to make fingerless gloves. For example, that is one thing I should probably never try to do again. Even though I should. For Robin Hood. Hey, a rhyme! So anyway, thirteen of my precious fifteen minutes have already gone by. *sigh*. You know what? I am just going to go for twenty minutes. Then I can start cleaning right on the hour. That would be really helpful. Number one, because I can type some more. Number two, because then I an say that I have been working for a certain number of minutes on my room because I will have started right at six. Which is nice. I think. Anyway, back to the land of me ranting about my lame knitting skills..... I can knit, but I am not really good at it. I know that everyone says, "oh, you are such a good knitter," but really, they are probably only saying that because I know how and they do not. For example, I can only knit scarves and hats and occasionally bags. But only if they are small bags. Like purses almost. And bookmarks. And gloves. Sometimes. I can do sweaters, but I have only ever finished the back half of one. Not very good, am I? Well, I can do a bunch of different stitches, but all those I learned from a book. And really, to do all of those stitches you really only need to know how to knit and purl and cast on and bind off. And, when you are learning a new stitch, you have to know what the symbols mean in the stitch pattern. Okay, my mom just came in and she said that I could do my reading/research for my English project before I cleaned my room. So I get to stay down here a couple more minutes, since she brought down my book (which is fiction) which I have to read for English (and incorporate into my project, unless I want to pile more work on myself and do one of the book report options, which I do not want to do). She is willing to count the book as research, as it is going to be part of my presentation. Sort of. My topic is about marriage. And India. And America. It is hard to explain. But it works. In my head. Sort of. Anyway, I have sort of almost reached the point where me ACTUALLY ranting about something is ACTUALLY somewhat close to the notes I did last night. Which is pretty freaking awesome. But to be honest, I doubt whether anyone is going to read this anyway, so nobody would really care. So that entire thing took me around twenty five minutes total. Wow. I was down here for ages when I was taking the notes. That is probably because I was reading and then writing and then reading and then writing and so on. Well, I have very much exceeded my fifteen minutes or twenty minutes or whatever it is supposed to be, so I should probably go do something productive. Like read the book I am supposed to read for English. Or something. Anyway, the point is, I CAN do stuff like rant for extended periods of time and exceed the length I used on this space for note taking. That is always fun. Except when it is not. Obviously. I mean, right? Whatever. Anyway, I am going to start reading when this clock says six twenty which is in four minutes. So.......yeah. I do not care what other people say, I know I can knit, but compared with a lot of people I am mediocre. I can not even finish a sweater and there are people who could probably knit about five sweaters in the time it took me to make the back half. So there. Plus, all those people who did those five sweaters also have the patience for ponchos and the skill to design their own sweaters from the basic pattern. Because to be quite honest, sweater patterns are basically, "do this many rows with ribbing/garter stitch. Change to larger needles. Work for this many inches. Bind of four stitches on each side. Work several more inches. Bind off everything." Seriously. That is basically it. Well, my time is up. I will see you later, or blog later, or whatever.
here I am
Well, I am back. I REALLY want to write more than I do when I'm taking notes, but I can never seem to have enough time to do so. Like now, for example. I'm not technically supposed to chill past five, but my mom isn't here.
Okay, how about this-I'm going to wait out this song (I'm listining to music, by the way) and then I'll go do my homework! Great!
So that means I have around....2 minutes. Great.
Anyway.....
Okay this is really lame. I want to write more than I did, and then I suddenly can't. This is really lame. Really, really lame. I know it. Life is weird like that, isn't it?
well, now the song is at an awesome part. But I can't stay long. Because now I have around....less than a minute. Oh great. I don't want to do my homework. I really don't. But I have to.
I'm going to go now. I'll be back when I have time to get the laptop and get back on here. The song's done now anyway.

lunchtime!
Well, I am BACK in full force, and I completely intend to talk more than I did when I was taking notes for my project. So here I am, rambling, as usual. So............how are you today? I am okay. I started another knitting project. I am finally going to use up my basketball-sized ball of scrap yarn that I started ages ago. I like my scraps ball because, well, you can never redo it exactly the same way. But I think that it is time I actually had a use for it, aside from having it take up space, so I am going to knit a blanket with it. Or part of a blanket. Or something really big. That I do not have to wear. Because that would be annoying. Because there would be a load of knots and it would be really uncomfortable. So I am making a blanket with it. That is what I am going to do. I am also thinking about knitting something to wear to my cousin's wedding in July. I might actually knit something for her. I would not know what to make, though. I mean, the only really nice yarn I can think of is alpaca wool, and, number one it is around twenty dollars per skein (the average is like between two and five for the basic acrylic), and number two it would be freaking hot to wear it wherever she and her boyfriend/ husband are going to live. Which is probably down south for at least a little while because my cousin is working down south and her boyfriend/ husband is still in college down south, so they are probably going to live there. That reminds me, what ARE we doing for a wedding present for them anyway? Well, sadly, I could not fulfill my goal of writing more than last time.
random two minute thing
Okay here I am. I have class in like two minutes so I can't stay long.
So last night I watched Emma because Cities of the Underworld wasn't on. Emma was okay, but it was really annoying that Cities wasn't on. I only missed like two episodes of season one/two, and now I'm missing like five of season three.
Emma is okay though. Jane Austen is a pretty good writer.
Well, my two minutes are up.
:(. Will be back at lunch. Maybe. :)

notes for the race and culture project
Okay, so my basic thing of what I'm going to do is I'm researching marriage issues for Indian females coming to America/live in America but were raised by an arranged couple. So I did some research about arranged marriage. I looked up some sites, but did not read them very thouroughly. So here is what I am finding out as I read the first website's information: The marriage symbolizes not only the union of the couple but the union of the family. Okay, that was about the only useful information from THAT link. moving on. The title of this page is "marriage legalities in India." There are several different religions in India, all with their own marriage laws. India acknowledges the individual's rights, and lets the individual have their own cumpolsory rules. Said rules are usually based around the rules of the religion of said person. For example, there is the Hindu Marriage Act, the Christian Marriage Act, the Parsee Marriage and Divorce Act, and the Muslim Marriage Act. What is a parsee, anyway? *note to self-look up parsee* For the Hindu Marriage Act (1955), the guy has to be at least 21 and the girl has to be at least 18. They should be of the same religion and should not be within the degree of a prohibited relationship. (what does THAT mean?) Divorce can be obtained on various grounds. Muslims also have their own personal law that says that Nikah or marriage is a contract, temporary or permanent, and it permits a dude to have four wives just so long as he treats them all equally. If I were one of the girls, I would be rather pissed that my husband married three other people as well. I wonder how that would work out, anyway. The Parsee Marriage and Divorce Act (1939) governs the provisions of their marriage. Well, that's descriptive. Same goes for Indian Christians under the Idian Christian Marriage Act of 1889. So all these people are governed by an act about how they should get married? I should look into this......
Anyway, there is also the Special Marriage Act. I don't think the U.S. has THIS many acts with regards to marriage only. Sure, the temples and the mosques and the churches and the where ever elses will probably have their own decorum where their subjects would be damnable to the underworld for the rest of forever for not marrying someone of their religion. But anyway, what of this special marriage act? Special Marriage Act, 1954. Those who get married with no formal wedding ceremony or a civil marriage are governed by this act. Those getting married under this act do not need to go through any more legal steps because in this case registration is itself the marriage ceremony. (?????) OH it explains in the next scentence- "so whatever your religion it is important to legalize your marriage ceremony." And that's the end of that bit. MOVING ON!
You know what? When the site's information on your topic was only a paragraph long, it's a lot easier to manage taking typed notes on it. But this link, although it probably has good information, would probably drive me insane, clicking from tab to tab. So I'm going to stop with the note-taking now and just read the article.
Just thinking, though...
This is probably the longest entry I've posted, except for the one with a load of space for dramatic effect when it was like "oh, tomorrow's blame someone else day... I didn't do it."
But seriously, it probably is.
Well, I've just been doing some more thinking. Mom said half an hour of research means I get to watch Cities of the Underworld tonight if it's on and Emma if it's not. So that means around ten more minutes of this and I'm free.
Wait, no, I still have to do my math homework.
And eat dinner.
And................yeah.
Oh, I should probably cite the links that I got the information from.
One moment please..........

Okay!!
Based on the side scrolly bar thingie, this IS the longest post I have ever done ever. Yay me!
Man I wish I could write this much on regular posts when I wanted to.
Oh well.
I'm hungry.
Better get to that research!
I'm really hungry though...............

gah!
Well, here I am. Writing in my blog.
Right now I probably should be researching my race and culture project. I really should. But I am not. Because I do not really want to. That and the fact that I really, really, really, really, really do not get this project.
I do not get it because the teacher does not really give you enough to work with. Okay, scratch that, she gives you enough prompting to work with. It is just me that I am worried about. I am worried about me because I do not seem able to organize properly. And the project is due at the end of march.
What I really do not get is why the teacher is taking points off if we do not dress well enough or have a bad hair day. That is really mean. She used to teach college, which is probably why she would do that, but come on. We are in HIGH SCHOOL for Pete's sake.
Oh well.
I will go work on my project now.
Or do the best that I can.
I have an idea!
I will blog all my notes!
That is a good idea!
Okay, I am going to do notes in a new entry.
Later.

well, here I am
Here I am. I am NOWHERE near done with that stupid freaking English project, but on the other hand, I worked for two hours on research. My mom and I made a deal that if I worked for two hours straight then I would be allowed to chill and watch one of the movies we got last night. So that is what I did. I watched Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, which is probably one of the most ridiculously hilarious movies ever. I loved the first one (Bill and Ted's excellent adventure), which was most awesome, but the second one was most ridiculous. And I am not sure whether I spelled that right, but oh well. Now I have their eighties-surfer-dude-speak stuck in my head. By the way, yes, this is the one where Keanu Reeves is also completely ridiculous, but he gets to be ridiculous and amazing and hilarious at the same time. It was most awesome. So now I get to listen to my brother play the piano. He does not play normally, but then he got into this most amazing piano idea, and watched a video on the Internet, and now he is practicing. By the way, aside from the basic triad, I taught him everything he knows. This means his entire repertoire comes from me. The entire content of said repertoire is "heart and soul" and that is it. Except for the basic triads. And now he is practicing the "heart and soul" bass that I taught him. He is come along quite well. Two hours ago he could only play the triad, but now he is doing the variation that I normally do for the bass. And now he is just randomly banging on the piano, which is most random. By the way, yes, I know that I am using the word "most" as an adjective, but I do not care. It is not my fault. Bill and Ted made me do it. It is THEIR fault I am a nerd. Nah, it is really my own fault, I admit. But he is getting quite good. But now he is done. Oh well. I do not know what to do now. I am really bored. And hungry. And I have not had a shower yet. I will probably get something to eat and then take a shower. Both me and my brother are still in our pajamas. At least I am. I'm not sure about him. It is most excellent to be still in your pajamas after five. On the other hand, I have another two hours of research ahead of me if I want to watch another movie with my parents. We also rented "Penelope", which looks like a really good movie, even though I have never seen it. Hopefully they do not all speak in eighties-surfer-dude speak in "Penelope". I mean, it is hilarious and everything, seeing Keanu Reeves be THAT goofy after seeing bits of the last two "Matrix" movies, but still, it can get kind of old sometimes. Sometimes. But it is still quite awesome. If I was ever in a movie, I would want Keanu Reeves to be in it. I do not know why. I just do. Just because he just seems so different than all the other actors out there, and so it would be kind of interesting to work with him. I know it is weird, but I do not care. I like Keanu Reeves. Even though it would be kind of intimidating because he is a brilliant actor and has been in many rather awesome roles, and all I ever seem to be able to do is be an innocent bystander. I mean, if I was in a movie, and Keanu Reeves was in it, I would want to be a lead. Just because he is so versatile. And cool. And amazing. I saw this flair on Facebook that had him all serious when he was in one of the scenes in one of the "matrix" movies, and the caption was something like, "secretly, he is trying not to burst into song." Or maybe it was on celeb captions. I forget. Anyway, it was funny.
why?
Well, I'm back. And I'm tired. And I'm frustrated. And it's six past noon. And I still haven't got one decent thing on the topic I'm supposed to be researching for English. All I've found-through three search engines-is that arranged marriages in India have been going on for centuries and opinion essays on why arranged marriages are better than love matches. I mean, that was okay for when I was researching the extra stuff, but it's STILL coming up now I'm doing the research actually relevant to the topic in question.
rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
stupid english project
Well I'm back.
And I'm supposed to be doing my Race and Culture project for English.
So I'm going to come back here every so often to report what I've found.
Kind of.
Anyway, back to the old research.
By the way, I've decided I'm not coming back for another two hours, because that was the alloted time for working for today.

knitting, cookies, and Jane Austin
yes, I am a knitter. I finally finished what everyone thinks is a scarf, and what I keep telling everyone is part of a blanket. But whatever. It's still gonna be FREAKING AWESOME!!!! It's going to be kind of like a stash blanket worked in strips. I just finished the fifteen-stitch-wide part, and now I'm moving on to the twenty. I still have some yarn left over from the fifteen stitch part, so I'm going to start the twenty stitch part with that color and then tie on the next color when the first one runs out. When I'm done with the twenty stitch part, which everyone will probably think is also a scarf, I'm probably going to have a lot of yarn left over, since I have a considerable amount from the fifteen stitch, so I'm going to do the twenty five with the second color. I know it sounds confusing. It makes sense in my head. There's only going to be six balls of yarn used, but two of them are really big, so I'm going to use them for the wider parts (the ones with forty and forty five stitches). If I have enough yarn for that. Which I probably will. Because of the work-to-the-last thing. But oh well. If I run out, I'm going to use my color scraps ball. It's the ball I have for balls of yarn that are really tiny and are the kinds of yarn that have different colors in them. Okay, most of the balls aren't really tiny, but they defiantly not as big as when I got them.
Anyway, iiiiit's GIRL SCOUT COOKIE SEASON! Rather, it's that time of year when I've sent around the order form and now I have to go to the trouble of giving the actual boxes out. Which is really annoying because I have to carry them around in plastic bags that split every two seconds if you put more than two boxes in them. The only really sturdy ones are the bags that the newspaper comes in, but they're really skinny and they're susceptible to splitting anyway if you put the wider boxes in them. And you can't fit more than like two or three, because of the bags being so small and thin. Those plastic bags you get in the grocery stores are preferable in this case, but they're really bad for the environment.
Well, night before last my parents and I finished watching the BBC dramatization of Pride and Prejudice. It was defiantly different than the Keira Knigtley one, but one isn't better than the other. The Keira Knightley one has better acting, better sets, and I don't care that my mom says it doesn't look like the REAL outdoors when they're filming outside, but I like it. But the BBC one is a lot more true to the book and the costumes are probably closer to what the characters might have actually worn. But on the other hand, it's around five hours long, because they put every last detail of dialogue into the movie.
Now we're watching Emma, which I haven't read. So far, I REALLY don't like it. Emma is a really annoying person. She's dead spoiled and set up a match for her governess and then she's setting up a match for her friend Hannah. But the thing is, Hannah just isn't into the guy that Emma is setting her up with, because near the end Hannah goes over to Emma and says that she got this proposal letter from this dude that she likes. So far, Emma is a real jerk.
This feels really weird because I have a friend called Emma, and she's not spoiled or anything. And I don't think she'd ever tell someone to ditch the person they like because she was trying to set them up with someone else. But oh well.
I have to go now. Just because I feel like it.

It's official. my parents hate my guts.
So here I am. I have no life. I'm sitting on my bed, in my pajamas, with my mom's laptop, with my first finished banket (It's not so much a blanket as a really wonkily proportioned scarf), and I'm really ticked off because the stupid DVD player on the computer won't work, and dad's hogging the tv. I mean, seriously, I could have been mostly done with the movie by now, but noooooo dad just HAS to watch the freaking NBA All Star Game, and so instead of being mostly through a 90 minute movie by now, I am sitting here blogging because the DVD keeps skipping on here. I mean, yeah, my dad's going to give up the TV in five minutes. But still. In five minutes it will be five till 11, and in five minutes, instead of being at around 60 minutes into a movie, I'd have to start all over again where I left off, which is no fun at all. I mean, even though I'v practically memorized the movie, he completely ruined my impulse to watch it.
We had some friends from church over tonight, and so after watching Mamma Mia and all of the DVD extras, we started watching Ella Enchanted. Then they all had to leave, and I was about to finish watching Ella Enchanted, because even though we had only gotten aout half an hour in and I have it practically memorized I really wanted to finish it because I haven't seen it in years, but then dad just HAD to watch the game. Why are sports so important to men? I mean, yes, they are fun to watch on 8occasion, but why are men so addicted to watching it? I mean, at least girls tend to have some variation in what they watch.
Now dad has really gotten me into an anti-movie-watching mood. It's all his fault, too. Because HE was the one who wanted to watch the playoffs or allstar game or whatever the heck it is. I would have said a worse word, too, if I didn't know that my mom would one day read this. Man, why am I so restricted all the time? It's not fun. I hate it. I mean, generally, when you're really pissed, you want to yell and scream and cuss your rotten butt off, but noooooo your mom or whoever monitors you just has to monitor everything else too.
Why do they do that, anyway? I mean, what's the big deal about cussing? Seriously, it's not like someone is going to die because I yelled out a swear word. Nobody's going to get injured if someone is really freaked out and is cussing their head off. I mean, the only way someone is actually going to get hurt while cussing is if they're cussing their head off and using all their breath to cuss instead of using their breath to run away from their crazy stalker murderer person who has cornered them in a dark alley and has a gun pointed at their back and is about to pull the trigger on them.
And now I am REALLY in an anti-movie mood. I mean, I was perfectly happy to watch a movie half an hour ago. Half an hour ago I would have finished at a time that would have been okay. Alright, 11:30 isn't the greatest, but tomorrow's a holiday. But still. Why do adults have to come along at the very moment you actually start having the slightest bit of fun?
I mean, the plot was just getting going where I was in the movie.I know I'm being stupid and conceited and whatnot.
I know that dad really wanted to watch the all star game.
I know I can't have everything.
I know that life isn't fair.
But still, isn't it easier for life to try being nice?
I hate being the age I am.
Because your parents have only just started getting on your back about stuff.
And soon enough they're going to be getting even more on my back, whether I have a boyfriend or not.
My dad hates me. It's official.
Okay, he doesn't hate me.
But it ruddy well feels like it.
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Why can't I have my annoyed teenager rants without feeling bad about it two seconds later? Why did God give me such an annoyingly attentive conscience? And why did God give me parents that restrict me so freaking much??????????
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Enchanted songs and Spanish valentines
So I'm listening to Enchanted songs right now. You know, the one where the cartoon princess gets pitched into the real world's New York. I LOVE that movie. Well, I technically love lots of movies. OOOOOH "how does she know" just came on. That's probably one of my favorite songs in the ENTIRE movie. how do I knoooooooooooooow he loves me how do I knooooooooooooooooooow he's miine? Sorry I couldn't resist doing that.
Yeah, in Spanish on Thursday we did valentines. Written in spanish. Obviously. But what's really awesome is in spanish-speaking countries, today isn't "la dia del santo valentino," today is "la dia del amisad." I like that one better. It means "the day of friendship." I don't really like people creating a day specifically for people flaunting how they have a date and other people don't. I mean, in the end, people are probably going to have more friends in their life than boyfriend/girlfriends. But still. On the other hand, there's those little candy hearts, which I absolutely am in love with. Seriously, I'd be okay with the a day for people flaunting their relationships if one of those candy hearts was a person and we were going out. Seriously I love those things.
Last night I saw the Pink Panther Two with my friend. It was absolutely hilarious. Almost funnier than the first one, I'm serious. And the first one was pretty flipping funny. My favorite line (one of them anyway) was one of Steve Martin's-"I shall now bring you up to speed. We know nothing. You are now up to speed." It was really funny. The accusation was also really funny. No, I'm NOT telling you who did it. Go see the movie for yourself. But it WAS funny. Because it was like, "the dude has a completely whack theory that might actually work," and then all the brilliant people were "joking" around with the accusation, figuring out theories and whatnot (because that's what smart people do. As I am not one of them, I can't entirely say I get the meaning of this excersise), and then the love interest says to the accused, "open your bag," and one of the brilliants is like, "dude, it was a GAME!" and then she's like, "yeah, but to complete the GAME, open your bag, you." and then the accused opens the bag and pulls out a gun and then the epic chase happens. And since it's a Steve Martin movie, the chase has him falling out of a balcony at least once. This time he grabs onto a fire hose. It was really funny.
Afterwards, me and my friend saw our other friend with a guy from my school. But it was okay, because he seems like a pretty nice guy. But it was just kind of akward, because it was like, "oh hey amigo! Woah, hey, dude from school!"
But then we all moved along with our buisness. And it was okay. Soooooooo yeah.
What now?
I have no idea.
I'm going to stop now.
Wait, no I'm not.
Because I'm bored.
And I have nothing else to do.
So I'm going to stay.
OR AM I?
I don't know.
What do you think?
I think I should stay.
I don't know what to do. I'm bored.
Oh yeah, I went to the library today. I finally found the book I've been meaning to read since forever ago, and as I was going to check out, I learned that I left my wallet-and my library card-at home by accident.
What fun!
I don't know what to say now.
But I did get it on hold online.
And when I was walking home, I learned that my neighbor got a hampster. She's really young, so she was all psyched. I whish I had a hampster. No, scratch that. I wish I had a PET.
When I move out, I'm going to get a dog.
And a cat.
And a rabbit.
And a guinea pig.
And a hampster.
And a mouse.
And a rat.
And a parrot.
And then I'll carry it around on my shoulder and pretend I'm a pirate! It'll be completely amazing!
And I'll get a lot of other animals.
And it will be amazing.
Because I'll have lots of pets and I won't be lonely.
Like I am a lot.
Because I have friends but friends aren't the same as pets.
Pets are your friends but you can still boss them around.
You can't do that with friends.
What fun!

blame someone else day
By the way, I forgot to say earlier-today's blame someone else day! Because it's the first friday the thirteenth of the year!
It's not my fault.
It's not my fault.
i really need to find relevant titles
I know, I can't think of good titles. I fail. But on the other hand, I'm not that good at thinking things up in the first place except when I'm in one of those moods where you have a gazillion ideas all at once. But whatever.
What to talk about now? I have no idea. Umm.............
I'm going to audition today. I forgot yesterday. And I was hungry because I got locked out of the room where my lunch was. And by the time I remembered that I wanted to audition yesterday, there was ten minutes left in lunch and four people still in line. So I'm going to go today during lunch, if my teacher will let us out at a decent time, and then eat lunch at the end of the day. I have to remember, though, not to spend the one dollar I have on some sort of snack. The one dollar is the majority of my bus fare for this afternoon. I'm going to the movies with a friend, and we decided that we wanted to use public transport. What I don't get, though, is why we're getting the bus almost two hours before the movie starts. I mean, I know we have to eat and get tickets, but still. I guess first we should go to the food court so we can get decent spots in line before rush hour and I can find a decent vegetarian restaurant.
Actually, I'm not entirely sure our mall HAS a vegetarian friendly restaurant. Except for that Japanese place, but they take forever to cook their food. Last year I would have gone to some normal fast food restaurant (not mcdonalds, though. I HATE mcdonalds. Especially after seeing Super Size Me in health class. But still I haven't had it in years. It's gross), but there aren't any fast food joints that have vegetarian main meals. This stinks. Oh, well. We'll see what they have when we get there.
Seriously, though, fast food is gross. I mean, I might actually go to the Japanese place because they actually COOK their food (like you can see them at it) and not just get a load of burgers from a fast food mothership or something. Of all the fast food places (like McDonald's or something), Chick-Fil-A was probably the best. I mean, yes, they probably aren't the greatest, but still, it's hard to beat McDonald's in the gross department. Yesterday we saw this clip in health-it was like an extra on the "educational version" of Super Size Me-and he put a burger from a normal restaurant in a jar, some fries from a normal restaurant in another jar, some fries from McDonald's in another jar, and several different kinds of McDonald's burgers in different jars. The normal burger and fries had started rotting after a week or two, like any normal food would. It took the McDonald's burgers a couple more weeks to start rotting, but they did get mold, which is okay-er than the fries, but worse than the ones that didn't come from a fast food joint. But the McDonald's fries, even after ten weeks, showed absolutely no change whatsoever. That's really gross. I'm never eating at McDonald's again. Especially after seeing Super Size Me. But that's really easy to do. My entire family hates McDonald's. Seriously, I haven't eaten there since I was about ten. Now I have good reason to.
But that still doesn't solve the problem of where I'm going to eat tonight. I mean, I could just save my lunch and eat it there but I don't really want to. I think I'll just go to the Japanese place, unless I find somewhere better. I went to the mall a couple times last summer, but that was before I was vegetarian so my options are limited now.
What to do what to do?
I'm really bored.
How about you?
Hey it rhymes!
Oh poo I have English next.
On the other hand, I only have four classes today where I actually have to learn something. Usually it's three, but of course we had to go into health, so it's four now. I don't like learning stuff like grammar. Grammar bugs me. I mean, I guess it could be useful. But that still doesn't make it fun. Especially the way my teacher does it. Especially because she expects us to write around twenty essays a quarter. Okay, that's my exaggeration going into effect again, but still, it feels like it. Well, this quarter, it's more like fifteen, but still. Writing essays isn't fun. It should be banned from public schools unless it is for recreational purposes.
I'm going to shut up now.

i am BACK!
Yes! Amazing but true! No matter how hard I try (but I wasn't really trying), I CANNOT stop blogging! AAAAH!! Okay it's not that big of a deal. But whatever.
But, here I am, once again (i'm torn into peices, can't deny it can't pretend just thought you were the one....sorry, Kelly Clarkson moment...crud...now I have "behind these hazel eyes" stuck in my head...), blogging my fingers off.
But what shall I rant about now? Has the amazing ranter, who rants oh so much, finally run out of ideas? I don't know. What do you think?
Oh! I have an idea! I stop blogging and go onto some other website! That's a good idea! Or, since I love typing so much, I could type up the rest of my story and send it to my former English teacher...I don't know. What to do, what to do?
But I don't want to stop blogging. I don't want to stop typing. Even though I'm not in a creative writer mode, I still feel like writing something. But what to write? The world is so confusing. There. I wrote something. And look! I did it again! I'm a nerd. I admit it.
Nerds! Star Wars! Yay star wars!
I LOVE star wars. Especially the originals. Especially episode six. Who doesn't love little combative teddy bears? Okay, euwoks. But whatever. But I realized, when watching Episode Six, in the scene when Leia had her hair down, I realized that, yes, I know that she has extentions, but MY hair, which has never had ANY extentions, was only around two inches shorter. But then I hacked off ten inches and gave it to Locks of Love. Now my hair is shorter and will take me another four years to grow it back out again. No, scratch that, make that six. Because I cut my hair to around this length in elementary school. No, it was shorter, and by the next year it was this length. GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm confusing myself. But point is, it will be many numbers of years before I will be able to even think about doing any sort of Princess Leia hair again.
But, retreating back to Star Wars, from rants about hair..................
Well, I still haven't seen all of them. I haven't got the guts to watch Episode Three yet. I'm such a whimp. I should have done it when I was in that rebel sort of phase. Because then I was like "SWEET!" to like everything, even things like people's heads getting chopped off. Okay, maybe not people's heads getting chopped off. But I was better than everyone else-I was willing to handle live worms straight from the mud when like no one else was willing. I mean, come on, they're not that bad. They won't kill you. They won't even hurt you. They're probably more scared of you than you are of them. Why is it so hard for double X cromosomes to understand that half the things they're freaked out about won't hurt them? True, some can, but still. Snakes usually are more scared of you than you are of them. But still, that doesn't mean that the venomous ones can't bite you.
But still, why freak out about WORMS??? They're good for the dirt. They're good for the environment. They can't hurt you, and for all you know the one you might have picked up was the best looking worm for miles. I don't know whether worms even mate, but point is, worms won't hurt you. More like they can't hurt you. I don't get why most girls don't realize that and freak out at the sight of them, while I "bravely" pluck them from the mud, hold salamanders in my bare hands, and rock hop in streams without screaming about how the water will mess up my fancy designer clothes. I don't wear designer clothes anyhow. Then again, I can barely remember when I got most of my clothes. I mean, come on, if you're going on a school feild trip to a place where you're going to get dirty, then you shouldn't wear designer stuff. It's way too expendsive and way too impractical anyway.
Okay, this is like an epic demonstration of how completely random I am. I started with Kelly Clarkson and ended up talking about worms, salamanders, stream hopping, and designer clothes with Star Wars and Euwoks stuck in the middle. If that doesn't demonstrate my randomness, what does?

Pride, Prejudice, and Abba
well, I'm back. You just can't get rid of me, can you? I'm here to STAY!!! Not really, though. Just till next week. Just kidding.
What I really don't get, though, is how people can think that Wuthering Heights is the greatest love story ever. True, there's love, hate, love, crazy people, and marrying other people in Wuthering Heights. But what about the falling in love, moms with epic amounts of fail, thinking you're in love, finding out the dude's a jerk, having a seemingly annoying dude like you, falling in love with the seemingly annoying guy, having your sister marry the jerk, and having your OTHER sister marry the guy of her dreams not qualify as a pretty decent love story? (that was pride and prejudice in a nutshell by the way. Except I left out the part about your idiot of a cousin proposing to you. But that's what they did in those days.) True, Pride and Prejudice might be a bit (okay, a LOT) more confusing, but I wouldn't know. I haven't read Wuthering Heights, so I wouldn't know which was more confusing. I admit that Pride and Prejudice, when I did read it for an English project, confused me to death over winter break, until I saw the Keira Knightly movie (I love it. And I have no reason to think otherwise because I have not had the time, energy, or thought process when the two were together to go out and see the Colin Firth version.), because I honestly think that images with words are easier to process than epic amounts of words that are written in a style that you can't understand with words that you don't know the definition to. That's annoying.
But, of course, the Keira Knightly movie does have some downfalls. Like they left out some bits. Like.....I can't remember any. Because I didn't fully comprehend the details of the plot. Oh! I remember now! Mr. Bingly had two sisters! And in the movie there was only one! But that was probably because the older sister was already married so she couldn't have some epic betrayal because that wasn't morally right in those days. But, seriously, to be quite honest, near the end I just went to the library and got the Cliffnotes for Pride and Prejudice. But my friend has the Colin Firth version, which apparently has everything in the book and then some that wasn't. But I wouldn't know. I've already forgotten half of it.
Seriously, the only time I remember having fun when reading Pride and Prejudice was when I wasn't technically reading it-I was singing the words along with the Mamma Mia movie soundrack and the Broadway Lion King soundtrack. Granted, I don't really remember anything that happened during the time I was singing it, but still. Even though it took way too long to sing, I still couldn't understand half of it, and later on I could barely remember what happened, the point is, singing songs with completely different words is fun and hilarious. Especially when you're singing how someone is such an idiot that you can't stand it to the tune of Dancing Queen or Hakuna Matata. Because seriously, who doesn't love Abba or the Lion King? I mean really, people. They're something you can't exactly go your whole life without hearing without being seriously deprived of things that are quite awesome.
I really love parodies. That's why I asked if I could write a parody to an Abba song (go figure!) for my project. I was seriously considering just taking an excerpt from the book and making the words line up with the song, like I loved to do, but noooooo I had to actually rewrite an ENTIRE SONG!!!! actually it wasn't that hard, but still.

love stories....?
Okay so my dad is like this reading fanatic to the extreme. Like he's read practically everything (i.e. wuthering heights, pride and prejudice, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, his dark materials, the whole caboodle and then some), and he also likes to read the Writer's Almanac. Apparently the Almanac says that two completely different polls say the same thing-Wuthering Heights is the greatest love story ever of all time. When I heard that, having not read the whole caboodle of everything on the planet, I yell out, "since when was Wuthering Heights a love story?" At that moment, my mom comes down the hall preparing to leave for something or another. Dad tries the poll on her, and she can't guess it. I give her a hint, saying that it was the thing that I just yelled out for all the world to hear. She guesses West Side Story, Romeo and Juliet, Pride and Prejudice, all very plausible and very probable to make the "#1 best love story of all time" title. When dad finally tells her, I yell, again, "since when was Wuthering Heights a love story?" just as mom yells, "Oh, barf! Why that?" then I yell, "What's Wuthering Heights about, anyway?" and then mom says, "some crazy lady in the attic." which makes me wonder....how can some story about some crazy lady end up as what people think is the best love story ever?
So then I decide to read the summary. And it's basically a cross between Romeo and Juliet, Hamelet, and life.
I gotta go now. dinner.

more rants :)
It's almost spring! Or it feels like it!!! This is good!!! and bad....stupid global warming.... anyway, warm is warm and warm means spring and spring means my birthday. Yay!!!
I decided to try out for Robin Hood. No, I'm not trying out TODAY, auditions for today already happened. I'm auditioning tomorrow. There's one female part that looks interesting-Sister Felicity. She's not Maid Marian, but then again, I don't really want to be the screaming girl in the tower. Which is why Sister Felicity seems cool. Because, according to the character description that the drama teacher posted, she is the one "who protects Robin Hood." ??? since when did Robin Hood need protecting. I don't care. Being able to do awesome things with fake swords in those things that nuns wear would be pretty friggin awesome. Or whatever she does. Which, as far as I know, doesn't involve being the damsel in distress. Which is a good thing.
Anyway who would want to be the damsel in distress? being distressed is no fun. But whatever. Robin Hood is amazing!
Funnily enough, though, I don't really want to go into drama in college. Well, I do, but like as a side thing. I kinda wanna major in writing. Or something like that. Apparently there are quite a few in-state colleges that offer creative writing as a major. Which would be cool. But then, I never seem to be able to finish a story. So that might be a downside to majoring in creative writing. But on the upside, there's also journalism, drama, and like five bazillion colleges for music. But I might go into drama. I don't know. But I don't care. I read somewhere that it isn't a good idea to go into college knowing what you want to study because then you're really limited. But I could also like major in like drama and minor in creative writing or music or journalism or something. Or any combination.
The thing is, though, I wish we hadn't done West Side Story in winter. Yes, winter was a good time to have done it, since both winter and West Side Story are very bleak and depressing, but it would have been more fun to do West Side Story now because now we don't have to stay inside all the time. Which isn't fun. But on the other had, Robin Hood is more of a spring type of thing, because he's all outdoors all the time and whatnot. Plus it's just more fun to rehearse when it's not freezing cold outside and like completely dark. And the director, granted I get in, is willing to let me take a few days off a week to study for the black belt test. Which is good. Because I pinkie swore my tae kwon do instructor that I would go to the test this time. But seriously, this time I'm ready. I mean, the test over the summer was a real shock when it was suggested, and last fall I was expecting it but I still wasn't prepared, but this time, I'm expecting it, I know most of the stuff because of the summer/fall cram sessions, and I am quite sure I know that I can review the sparring stuff that I need to review because mom taped them. So she got a video of me flipping the instructor over. Which is pretty awesome.
I don't know what I'm supposed to get out of blogging this much. But I don't care. It's like writing...except not. Okay, it is writing. But still. It's not the same if I'm writing in my journal journal or doing a story in a notebook. I don't know what the difference is except for the fact that this is online and I'm not using up my pen's limited supply of ink. Or the planet's limited supply of trees and oxygen. Which brings me to the point that.............I don't know. Oh I know! The World History teacher uses way too much paper! Yes! That's my point! Well, no it isn't, but whatever. I have no point. But he DOES use way too much paper. He has at least a hundred students and he gives out about ten readings a week to each person, plus handouts, plus study guides plus about fifteen other things. Which is kind of sad. I heard someone say once, outside his classroom, that he should be restricted to like one tree a day. Which is what most teachers do. It's insane. I mean, he said that we should get notebooks, but less than half the pages I've used in my notebook are dedicated to study stuff. Well, more than half, but you get my point. He needs to let us use the paper we already have.
If you haven't noticed, I do random topic changes a lot because I have way too much time on my hands. Like just now. But let me ask you this-what ELSE am I supposed to do? I haven't got a life. I'm serious. For me, it's eat, sleep, homework, tae kwon do, repeat. And sometimes acting. And school. So....yeah.
See this is kind of weird for me to write this much. Usually I rarely say more than like six sentences in the course of an average school day (because all of my friends are epic chatterboxes...not really but still, rarely will there be a time when I volunteer information), but here I am writing like five gazillion paragraphs. This is unusual, even when I'm in writer's mode. Well, not when I'm in writer's mode. When I'm doing that I can write like five pages in one sitting. (I'm exaggerating on a lot of stuff, by the way). But, unlike when I'm writing a story, I can like totally spazz about stuff that I feel like spazzing about, whereas in a story, I'm not allowed to spazz unless my character is. Which sometimes isn't fun because sometimes the character isn't anywhere near having a spastic moment.
Which is good. hello again
Well, here I am. Again. I don't know why I do this so freaking much, but I do. I wonder whether anyone actually looks at my blog except for me. Oh well. I don't care. P.S. if you can see my blog, comment! Please! or follow it! So I can know if someone I know actually knows about this!
I was just looking over my old posts. "Don't expect me to post a lot"? Understatement of the year. I probably write here more willingly and more often than I write in my history notebook. No, more like my English notebook. Because I never write in my English notebook. Unless I'm doodling. But the point is, I write here more than I expected I would. Which is saying something. Well, no it isn't. But whatever.
I don't know what I feel like doing right now. I like writing. And typing. So I will continue. I sound so stupid, talking to myself. Oh well. Who am I supposed to talk to, anyway? I'm the only moderator on the blog. Nobody comments. Nobody looks this way. Nobody's allowed to. Well, nobody that I don't know. I've made sure of that because I can! And mom, if you're reading this, I CAN do that. Okay, my dad is calling for dinner. He's all psyched because I finally found an Alaska quarter, which he has been coveting since forever because it's the last one he needs to complete his collection. When me and my brother were kids, our grandpa, I think, gave us these quarter collector thingies, and my dad went crazy with them. I finally found the last Alaska one. So he wants to have an epic ceremony for it. If I can find it (gulp).
Oh well. With my dad, he tells you that dinner's ready five minutes before it actually is, and now is the time when it's actually ready. I don't want to go, though. I'm not done listening to Hairspray. And Dad's probably playing West Side Story to bug me. Because he likes it. But now he's getting annoyed, so I should probably go. But the song is almost done!!! Oh well. Okay.

back again
well, I am back. I am sorry I have not been able to post in a while. I have lots of stuff to do. And the Internet at school was being annoying. It is kind of weird really. During West Side Story, when I had to stay up until like one and never leave school, I was somehow able to find time to post but now I can never find a chance. But that is probably because I am not spending twelve hours away from my mom and therefore she has more chance to bug me about stuff. It is so annoying. But on the other hand, tonight I will have my first weeknight off in several months. And on Saturday it will be the first Saturday when I will be completely West-Side-Story-free. It is amazing. I mean, last week I got to sleep until like eleven, which I have not been able to do in like forever because that is when rehearsal started, but then I had to go perform that night. The cast party was really fun. We all had signed this poster in silver sharpie (it was backed in black, so silver was like the only thing that would show up) and gave it to the director. The image was basically the same image that was on the cover of the program, just enlarged to like a three by four or something. We did quotes, like every show that our school does, but we also did paper plate awards, which I have never done for drama before. I got "new blood" because I am most likely to keep the drama department going. (?). I do not get it. Oh well.I am just remembering a program blooper. I am not sure whether I have said this before, but oh well. I am saying it again. There was a misprint in the program, so apparently I was dancing or backstage and playing flute in the pit at the same time. Ha ha ha. Good times. By the way, I have absolutely no idea why I am not conjugating(i.e. I'm not I am) except for the fact that I kind of want to make this a bit longer than normal but whatever. I know that I am not using proper comma usage or whatever, but I do not care. I do not feel like using proper grammar. Deal with it. :P I have to go eat lunch now.

another aftermath
iiiiiiit's SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and I am freaking happy about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last night was really good. I mean, my eyes got better, nobody was bugging me about makeup, it wasn't opening night, people actually SIGNED my jeans, (yes, my jeans. commemorative jeans.) and it was just a really good night in general. Oh yeah, even though it started at seven thirty, we were sold out by seven. PWN!!!!!!!!!!! That's probably because it was Friday. We're probably going to be sold out tonight too, just because it's the weekend, and that's what people do.
On the other hand, tonight is closing night :(. And I STILL have to get signatures on my jeans. Not everybody has signed them yet. And someone stole my black sharpie so dad had to go out and get some more. Oh well I still have the other four. And I'm going to force everyone else to sign them or ELSE!
It's really kind of awkward because some people signed in really awkward places. Like along the fly seam and basically on the butt. :P. Oh well. On the other hand there's "sharks" on one leg and "jets" on the other. SO that's kind of cool. I think I should bring the dark blue sharpie instead of the light blue sharpie so it will show up.
and now i have to go eat. Goodbye.

here again
I know that this is my third post today. I don't care. I'm really bored and I have nothing better to do. I am in a better mood than this morning, however, which is good. Over the years, I have learned something very important-I am not a morning person. Enough said. And I have way too much time on my hands. And now I'm listening to Life is a Highway by Rascall Flats. It's the only song I have by them but I love it. I remember a while ago, back in the day when me and my dad were still memorizing Les Miz, and I had Life is a Highway stuck in my head, we made up little parodies for each of the characters to the first two lines of the chorus. My favorite was Javert's. The original was "Life is a highway/ and I'm gonna ride it all night long" but we changed it to "Life is a highway/ and I'm getting off at the next exit" because he committed suicide.
We saw Les Miz a couple weekends ago and it was freaking amazing. We had seen it a few years ago when it came to town, and I learned that front row seats are WAY overrated. But when we saw it recently, there wasn't really a lousy seat there, and I had the thing like entirely memorized, which made it all the more fun.
I have to go now. I don't know why we have to have call time at five thirty for a seven thirty show. We had call time five thirty LAST night, which was reasonable because LAST night was opening night. Oh, well. I have to eat. That's why I'm leaving now instead of in fifteen minutes. Okay shutting up.

whateverness
Risin' up, back on the street/Did my time, took my chances/Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet/Just a man and his will to survive/So many times, it happens too fast/You trade your passion for glory/Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past/You must fight just to keep them alive//It's the eye of the tiger, it's/the thrill of the fight/Rising up to the challenge of our rival/And the last known survivor/stalks his prey in the night/And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger//Face to face, out in the heat/Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry/They stack the odds/ still we take to the street/For the kill with the skill to survive//It's the eye of the tiger, it's/the thrill of the fight/Rising up to the challenge of our rival/And the last known survivor/stalks his prey in the night/And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger//Risin' up, straight to the top/Had the guts, got the glory/Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop/Just a man and his will to survive//It's the eye of the tiger, it's/the thrill of the fight/Rising up to the challenge of our rival/And the last known survivor/stalks his prey in the night/And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger/The eye of the tiger/
I LOVE that song!!!!!! (Eye of the Tiger by Survivor!!!! Hey!! It rhymes!!!)
so I don't actually have anything to do right now. I'm still in school, but it's virtually a free block. With cookies. I like cookies.
Well, tonight is West Side Story Round Two. I did the calculations in English, because I had to do this essay on personal courage (don't ask how it got into musicals) and so I calculated and tonight will be my 25th performance and my 12th show. Sometimes I'd say it would be my 13th, but then I remember that Guys and Dolls and Cinderella were technically in the same show, so that doesn't really count.
Anyway, my friend got Eye of the Tiger stuck in my head, so I researched the lyrics and decided to post them because we are agreed that it is one of the BEST SONGS EVER!!! That was last class. Now we're in this class, and I have no idea what song we're listening to right now, but we're listening to it. And I like it.
Good lord...now I have I Kissed a Girl by Katy Perry stuck in my head. Dang...
Okay I'm good now.
So anyway...yeah...
you should expect me to post more song lyrics. Because I will. Trust me, I will. Because I FREAKING LOVE SINGING!!!!!
Yes, I am very random. Have you noticed? Especially when I've had sugar. hee hee hee......
well, me and my friend somehow managed to wear our Lion King shirts on the same day for like the twentieth time. But I think it's the first time this semester. Or in 2009 for that matter. But last semester like every time I wore mine, she wore hers. It's creepy.
Yeah I'm really weird.
I'm going to go eat more cookies. Not that I haven't already had like six bazillion already.
Goodbye.

aftermath
So here I am. Again. In review of last night, I think West Side Story went quite well. I was really tired and the thing in my nose was on the verge of getting worse, so I don't think I could have done as well as I could have. But it did go well.
Now I'm really tired because I stayed up really late and was really ticked off in general afterwards last night, because of my nose. Whenever I cry myself to sleep I am always super hugely tired in the morning. It's really annoying because it isn't even 10:30 in the morning and I feel like I'm about to fall asleep on the computer. But I'm not. Hopefully.
Well, now the infection from my nose has either spread to my eyelids or a new one has sprung up there. It's not fun, but it's why I'm being so negative today. That and the fact that-you guessed it-I'm tired as heck. The cast was going to go to 7/11 last night but by the time we got there everyone had left and my mom made me leave too. :(. :P.
OK I'm done now.

okay!
Well here I am, again. It's an early release today. Mom freaked out when she found out I had a Blog. Mom, I'm quite sure this is as safe as I can make it. Anyway, West Side Story goes up tonight. You should ALL COME SEE IT!!!! It will be amazing!!!! Afterwards we're going to 7/11 for slurpees. It's kind of funny really. Tonight we're going for slurpees. Tomorrow we're going to Silver Diner. Saturday we're going to Jordan's house for a cast party till one in the morning.
I don't know how I managed to stay alive when I've started to spend more time at school than at home. Admittedly, the gap is only about 20 minutes, but still. I haven't had to do that since...well, ever. I was going to say Boys and Ghouls, but that was only until 7 or 8, and then I had a lot to do, because I had like the coolest part ever. It kind of makes me miss Peter Pan though, although both West Side Story and Peter Pan were kind of stressful. West Side Story we stayed until six or later for two months. Peter Pan we stayed until five thirty for seven months. I guess West Side Story is the more convenient option, but still, at least in Peter Pan we had time to do homework. Who knew extras had to do so much work?
I guess another reason I kind of liked Peter Pan better was because in Peter Pan I was allowed a bit more breathing room with my character, because it's really easy to have breathing room as a pirate with one line, and pirates in general, for that matter. But West Side Story, the Jet Girls have a set type of thing we have to do, and the only way we get to do any variation is moving different parts of the body at different times.
Even though I complain a lot, West Side Story has been fun. Funny, how that does stuff to people. I remember this one quote I read from the guy who played Pippen (I think) in Lord of the Rings, and it was just like, I hated waking up at four, I hated standing around with the hobbit feet, but I would do it all again tomorrow. That's sort of the way I see this-I don't like standing around doing nothing, I don't like how the only variation in the dresses is the shade of blue, and I don't like having so little variation in general, but I would be willing to do it again sometime.
Ah well, I should probably go now. I don't have class for a while, but I don't care. I don't know what I'm going to do, but all I know is that I've said all I can say.
