I have returned!

Right now, I want school to be over. So many of my friends are already out, and it kind of sucks.
The Summer of Adventure starts on Wednesday. Not TOMORROW Wednesday - the one after.
Well, the Summer of Adventure doesn't really technically start until next Saturday (which is even LONGER), when I depart with my youth group at church for my third year of Appalachian Service Project (aka ASP). SO EXCITED!
At the same time, I kind of don't want the school year to end (though I REALLY do not want to stay in this school-ends-in-a-week state of immense blah-ness where nothing gets done), because that means I'll be a senior. And I'm terrified. And it also means that I'm going to have to say farewell to my exchange student friends, which will be even more saddening because it's unlikely that I'll be able to see them again (unless Nisa decides to go to college in the US). I'll miss them tremendously. And I have a lot of friends who are currently seniors who I'm going to miss as well.
This is probably the most frustrating end of the school year that I have ever experienced ever.
Well, I think next year might be worse, because I'll be the one leaving.
Actually, it might be better because I'll be going to college and meeting new people and having cool adventures and stuff, instead of sitting at home wondering what my college-age friends are doing at that moment, procrastinating on college applications, and generally making myself useless.

stuff

Well, prom is tonight. WOOHOO!!! I'm rather excited. And I WILL be posting photos (to facebook). If you want to see photos, go there. I may be posting photos that aren't of people on here, but I don't know yet. That shall be determined at a later time (here meaning in approximately 12 hours, when it's all officially over).

In other news, it's FINALLY getting to be the end of the school year. Part of the reason I'm on a computer at school at all is so I can email all the stuff I want to email to myself from my account at school before they all get deleted. This involves stories, mostly, and other stuff that I don't want to lose (not yet, anyway).

But, of course, knowing me, I wound up doing something that's completely irrelevant to emailing myself literature that I wrote. I don't have anything else to do for the rest of the afternoon (except to drop by Film and Creative Writing, but that'll only take like five minutes each).

So I essentially have nothing to do today, which is both good and bad. I'll TRY and be productive. Which means that I'll be leaving the blog for now and going forth and emailing myself some stuff and doing other things to that effect. I shall post at a later date (probably tomorrow, when I have equally little to do).
Farewell for now!
