First post in 2011!!! YAAAAYY!!! Anyhoo, I have nothing really to say except for "HAPPY 2011!!!"
As part of my New Year's Resolution, I DID work for two hours on my novel.
And by "two hours," I really mean "an hour and a half," once you factor in the distracted looking around/ watching tv/ going to the bathroom type stuff.
Now I'm waiting for my parents to start griping about moving my knitting or my notebook or something off the couch because company is coming. But they haven't yet, which is kind of odd, but whatever. I guess they think that the room still looks acceptable from yesterday, which is fine by me. I'm TOTALLY cool with that. I just want food.
And also to have the motivation to force myself off of the computer/ tv and into actually doing something productive. Like noveling. Or knitting. Or something.
Even though I did "two hours" of work on my novel, I didn't really get that far. Okay, I did almost four pages. But that isn't a lot. I should've done more. I WANT to finish it. The reason I can't is the fact that there is the annoying thing called the TV that keeps getting me distracted. And the room that contains the TV is also the warmest one in the house. And it's also where I hang out a lot, and I didn't really feel like moving.
And so now I'm going to work on my novel. Goodbye.
