Whatever Post Number This Is

I really don't want to go to school tomorrow. I don't want to have to wake up at seven ten to go half fall asleep in chemistry, even if I DID do my homework. I really don't want to take an 8:20 next year, but I'm probably going to have to if I'm going to be able to take all the classes I want to take and have a free block so I can finish my homework before midnight during musical season. I'm probably going to go through high school with at least one free block each year. My TA suggested doing independent study, but that would take the fun out of some of the classes. Like I enjoy creative writing because of the peer critique and such, and how you can do a bigger variety of stuff with three people than you can when there's just you. So I don't know. I'll probably talk to my TA about it when we have to submit the course request forms, because then I'll have an excuse to be thinking about classes for next year. It's defenitely an option, though. I really don't know what I want to do. I'm too tired to want to think about it. The worst thing about the tail end of a show is the cast party. Although it's usually fun and sweet and stuff, you're always tired afterwards from staying up until two in the morning and then having to wake up and go to church or something.
On the other hand, the musical photos are on Facebook now. Hooray!

Kidnap! Romance! Tap dancing!

Well, that should have been the title of one of the earlier summaries of the musical, which is now, sadly, over. Well, not technically. We officially finish on Tuesday, which is when everyone turns in their scripts and such. But still. It's pretty much over. Although I didn't hugely enjoy tap dancing till the cows came home, I'll still miss it. The thing I'll miss most is hanging out with the SUPER awesome cast and being onstage. I will NOT miss the makeup and the hair and everything. I honestly look like a raccoon in stage makeup. I'm not kidding. It's because of the eyeliner, I think. My eyeliner pencil is terrible, so it gives a really thick line, and I had to put it on the top and the bottom of my eye, so it never fully comes off, which is the most annoying thing ever. I also found out something about one of my friends that I'm not saying for his privacy, but it was kind of awkward when I found out. Even though I sort of kind of already guessed... nevermind.
Last night was the best night ever because on my friend's solo during "Forget about the Boy," she was supposed to sing "Barney Schriver, CPA," (not sure if I spelled that right), but instead she did the name of our director/ chorus teacher, Chorus Guy! It was officially the best thing in the world.
We do quotes for each person every year for the musical. Like, the director or someone writes down something that the person said (or sang) that really describes them on a piece of paper folded into a fortune cookie and stuffed into a miniature Chinese take-out box or something like that (that's what we got this year, anyway), and then at the cast party everyone gets their quotes. Anyway, the director did some explaining before he gave some of the quotes, like mine. For mine, his explination was that apparently I have a lot of potential and I'm super active in the musical/ drama department (which is sort of true), so my quote was my second line: "this one, you'll want to see," because apparently I'm going to be going places. Something like that, anyway. I thought it was sort of sweet. And everyone was like, "awwww," when he said it.
So now I have to go do the inevitable: homework. Groan.
