Well, being such a NaNoWriMo nerd, I went on the website and started looking at the old videos. Which are funny. My favorites are the donor shout-outs and the song parodies - there's one called "NaNo will make a scribe out of you" (parody of the Mulan song "I'll make a man out of you."). There's also a parody of the William Tell overture.
And, at the end of page two, there's the NaNo Video bloopers.
These aren't the bloopers of the song parodies - these are the bloopers of the Donor Shout-out videos, pep talk videos, and whatever other videos happen to be officially made by the people at the OLL.
And it made me very happy because there was a Ewok at the end.
Even though it's in the 2009 bloopers.
And it's probably a copyright violation.
Anyhow, I'm going to go now. And bake cookies. Or just debate whether we have enough cookies. No, 100 cookies is NOT ENOUGH. I have to make 10 dozen for the Snowflake Ball tonight, which I was going to attend for volunteer hours, but I couldn't because the show was postponed. But they still need the cookies. Because there are going to be like 400 people there. If 400 people want three cookies each, and 12 girls make 10 dozen cookies each... never mind, I don't want to do the math. Wait... wait... yeah, I don't want to do the math.
But the point is, they want enough so that the people who just sit on the sides and eat cookies won't wipe out the entire supply of meringues.
Also, so there will actually be meringues.
Yes, I made meringues.
And, in making them, I got all of my hours - they're three hours in the oven.
And I have to go do a cookie conference now.
