So my friend got this ukulele, and it's officially the coolest thing ever. Her favorite song to play on it, I think, is Build Me Up Buttercup by I'm-not-sure-who. Anyhoo, here are the lyrics, because I LOVE that song. Even though it's really nerdy and all that jazz.

lunchtime post!

Well, I just got back from Creative Writing, and it was definitely one of the most fun classes I have ever had ever. We did one of those sentence story things, and it basically ended up being a variation on "the princess and the frog," except with a weird hawk - frog - dog - fuzzball thingy. And then she kissed him and then he had to go save her from a dragon because her parents have to be all proper about the whole cliche about getting married ONLY after you get saved by a handsome prince, and then they lived happily ever after. And she had a unibrow for most of the story. The first half of the story is kind of hard to explain, but basically the prince was a jerk and then his frog - hawk - dog - fuzzball minions beat him up because the princess fed him to her dog but it didn't work and then he grew radioactive tentacles because of some sort of radioactive something in the teeth of the dog. And then she saved him and then the unibrow went away and then she kissed him and then he turned into a prince and then he saved her from the dragon and blah blah blah and they lived happily ever after, the end. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
It was really fun. We were all cracking up while we were making it up, because things are just funnier when they're happening, just because they're awesome like that. So that's my story from today.
