So right now, my friends are having a rather heated argument about something rather random-who was a better superhero, Spiderman or Batman? I couldn't figure out who won. There wasn't a clear winner. But whatever. I just got out of chorus. And it was awesome. There were only six of us most of the time-one person left halfway through and another person came in soon after. We're a ten person choir, technically. The person who left was the only other soprano. And that meant that once we went into three part harmony, once the other person came back, there were three alto 2's, two alto 1's, and one soprano-me. It was hard, but kind of fun. For some reason, I felt like I was the only one singing half the time. But maybe that's just because I am me and I can hear myself better than everyone else. And I was singing like an octave higher than everyone else. And I was the only one who kind of remotely knew their part. I don't know. But I felt like I was the only one that was singing at any given moment in rehearsal today when we went into three part harmony. But whatever. :)
I have now set a personal best for number of posts in one day.
Before it was four.
Now it's five.
And the number is gonna go up.
Trust me.
Expect me to post more.
Seriously.
I have nothing else to do today.
Except go home.

back again
Okay, I'm going to try to do as many posts as possible, just because I want to have a lot of posts. And because I like blogging.
Okay I'm leaving now.
For now.
Bye.
Okay I'm leaving now.
For now.
Bye.
gah!!!
I had SO MANY FREAKING TESTS TODAY!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! First there was History. That was really hard and gave me a really bad writer's cramp because the history teacher's tests always have at least three "short answer" questions, and this one happened to be nine "short answer" questions. For all you who do not know our history teacher, his "short answer" questions are more like miniature essays, always. Seriously, he gave us so much space to write the stuff that you would feel bad if you answered in an ACTUAL short answer, like two sentences, which would have been acceptable for a short answer from most of our teachers. But for our history teacher, you have to write a whole huge answer about why Iran did something about taking over and blah blah blah blah blah. Seriously, two of his answers could probably be rolled together, typed up, put into paragraphs, and submitted for your next history essay. There's honestly very little difference between the two.
Then there was my free block, during which I was blogging a bit, which wasn't bad. It was fun, actually, because I'm weird like that. And because I like blogging.
Then there was English, which was easy until the poem analysis, which would not have been so horrid if I had not decided to write in cursive.
I do not think we have a test in biology. I am 99% sure we do not have a test in biology.
And I am 99% sure we do not have a test in health because we are still doing notes about STDs. And I am 100% sure we do not have a test in either chorus or TA because our concerts are the tests and nobody is tested for anything in TA. So yeah. But the fact that I decided to write in cursive gave me a headache. So now I am here. And I am hungry. So...yeah.
At least I am not the only one who hates the history tests.
I know that for a fact.
All of us who have history for A block were freaking out about it.
Because we all hate the tests.
And this one was really hard, because most of us did not remember him going over half the stuff that was on the study guide.
Luckily, we were all mixed up about which half we did not remember.
So I am going to leave now.
Bye.

bored.
I'm bored.
Again.
Tomorrow is my elementary school's spring fair!!!
WOOT!!!
Even though it's been years since I was in elementary school, and I haven't been actually in the school since the first day of school this current school year, I still want to go.
Only thing is, I only have two dollars.
Seriously.
There goes my hope of buying a decent amount of tickets.
It's rather lame.
But I can always mooch off of my mom and get her to take it out of my allowance or something.
The main reason I haven't been to the school since the first day of my current school year is mostly because all the teachers that I had either left or won't remember me.
My fifth grade teachers all left, I think-two retired, one hasn't been there because she's been on maternity leave, and I'm not sure what happened to the other one.
And all the fourth grade teachers have left, or at least the ones I had. And third grade teachers and down probably won't remember me for several reasons: number one, I've grown about a foot since I was in the third grade, number two, I grew out my bangs, so it would be harder to recognize me because of the fact that you can actually see my forehead, and number three, those who do remember me would probably remember me without some blue in my hair and back then my hair was longer than shoulder-length.
So that's why they won't remember me.
But I'm still going because I LOVED that school.
And the fair is really fun.
And there's a lot of cool stuff.
Okay, this is really corny, but have you noticed how all the really good times you had, or a lot of them, anyway, happened in elementary school?
I mean, okay, I can't remember ALL of the good times, but proportionally, the good times from elementary school seriously outnumber the good times from middle school and high school combined.
Well, combined, so far, I haven't been in middle school/ high school as long as I was in elementary school (yet) and so that doesn't really count.
But POINT IS, THOUGH, good times happen a lot more when you're younger.
Have you noticed that? It's really weird. But cool though.
So when you're an old granny you can be like, "when I was your age, I went to that elementary school and it was amazing and that fair is on Saturday, isn't it? You should go, missie, for your own sake," or something.
I know I'm weird, okay?
Okay I'm just rambling now.
Just to make this longer.
I left elementary school with straight A's and now I'm not doing so great in most of my classes.
This is really lame.
I mean, really lame.
:P.
happy may day!!! :)

Ungora/ Indigo #4
Due to the weird way our reproduction system works, the communities became incredibly diverse, with not only the usual breeds of whatever normally lives out here, but also really weird hybrids like minotaurs, and really rare things like trolls, ogres, and goblins, who split into their own communities after the populations in the communities became dangerous. The minotaurs were the really dangerous ones, but that was only when they were mad. The trolls were amazingly strong, the ogres had epic tempers, and the goblins were always stealing stuff from everyone, and they all had decent respect for outsiders like us, so they left. The trolls went to the valleys, the ogres went higher up the mountains, the minotaurs spread out to the next set of hills, and the goblins went into the caves or underground.
As for me, I've always been different from everyone. I'm fifteen, but I'm almost as tall as-and much stronger than-the average adult man. I'm an elf, technically, because I don't normally sprout wings, and I like the elf form, as the elf body is very versatile, but I CAN sprout wings and I CAN fly and I know magic of every breed alive. I have the skills and best qualities of every breed except the ogres-I have issues with too many things for it to be called an asset. I've always been different from everyone else, and I never really knew why. I mean, except for my issues with stuff and strength and things like that. But I don't really have a reputation for losing my temper and beating people to a pulp. I'm just...different. I know I'm a mix of everything, and people don't normally know that, but they sort of sense it. That's why I liked being on my own, for the most part.
I walked to the river and back in my usual quiet way. On my way back, though, a shiver of motion caught my eye. It was the slightest nudge of a bush, hardly worth noticing, but for some reason it seemed out of place. The best way to deal with these situations, I had learned, was to feign disregard but have one hand ready to pull an arrow if you had to.
I continued on my way more slowly, with one hand on my bow, listening carefully. I heard steps behind me and heavy, ragged breathing. Human breath, by the sound of it. Male, probably, or else a really tall and broad female. I couldn't judge the distance, but whoever it was sounded close. My hearing, although good for long-distance, was hard to use for judging distance. We had these situations sometimes-some of the king's men would try to follow us when we were alone to find where our camps were or find out what we were up to. I have no idea why.
When whoever or whatever was following me was in close range-close enough to be smelled and close enough for me to be uncomfortably aware of them, anyway-I turned quickly, tugging out an arrow, putting it to my bow, and pulling the string to the corner of my mouth in one smooth motion. I caught the person right in the face, a startled expression all over her face.
She was about my height-around five foot eleven- but we were almost total opposites in every other regard. My hair cascaded in a dark mahogany sheet to my knees, but her pale blond hair was cropped in a very short style, kind of like she was in the military or something. My eyes were slanted, small-ish and dark brown, while her round eyes were electric blue. But probably the biggest difference was in what we were wearing.
her outfit was close-cropped, tight, and very uncomfortable looking. Her shirt was a courtly sort of style-very tight on the body and very loose, puffy sleeves. It looked like it was made of silk or some other really nice fabric that comes in bright green. Her pants, which looked like some other really nice fabric, hugged every single contour of her legs, and her boots looked brand new and made from the best leather ever.
My outfit, on the other hand, wasn't nearly as nice, but my clothes' practicality was a lot better. My faded, greenish-brown cotton shirt wasn't as tight as hers, which allowed for more air circulation so I didn't over heat.My loose pants were also greenish-brown, which allowed for camouflage, but it also allowed for air circulation. The only part where my pants were slightly tight was at the waistband so they didn't fall off. I was barefoot.
"What are you?" she demanded, obviously repulsed. In Bayast, this was the equivalent of "who are you?"
"Not your father," I replied, equally aggressive.
"Seriously," she insisted in an annoying tone. She was probably royal, based on the haughty tone she was consistently using.
"Witch, warrior elf, and forest nymph," I said. I usually said a maximum of three species, since that, for most hybrids, was the biggest cross that people had. I kept my tone aggressive and glared her right in the eye. "What are you?"
"Warrior elf and hunter. And Princess. Cacyta. Lower your weapon."
"Why should I?" I growled. She definitely acted like the princess. She dressed like a princess. She was arrogant enough to be the princess. But that didn't mean she was THE princess.
"Because I'm the princess," she replied, maintaining the haughty, girlish tone. "And I order you to."
I moved my arrow from pointing in between her eyes to pointing at her mouth. "Happy?"
"All the way."
"You're trying to let me off my guard. It won't work."
"Very good. But it will work."
"And why is that?"
"Look around. I've got you surrounded." I glanced around. Nobody. I had barely turned my head, so I couldn't get a full scope, but the nymph part of me told me that she was the only unwelcome person in the immediate area.

I never thought I would get to post #69. Honestly, this was just a whim I went on and look what happened. I found a place to rant, write, and post stories all at the same time. This is AWESOME! So anyway... I recited Jabberwocky. And it was okay. I guess. I did not mess up, I can say that. I can also say that I got the extra credit point that I wanted to get since I recited it a day before it was actually due. You could have gotten up to 10 points extra credit, but I did NOT have it memorized ten days before it was due. And you had to have it analyzed, too. So that all was commemorated today, since the analyzing and everything had to be done by today. So yeah. Now my friends have looked through the snack cabinet and somehow came across these old puppet thingies. It is funny what they are doing with them. Apparently our TA leader is trying to clean out the snack cabinet, and so I guess that was how they got across them. Anyway... apparently all the puppet things are different Harry Potter characters. I do NOT get all classifications that they came up with for them, but whatever. I am a Harry Potter fan. I like Harry Potter. Harry Potter is awesome. I am one of those weird people who does NOT try to classify themselves into the Harry Potter clique or the Lord of the Rings clique or the Star Wars clique or whatever. I am the go-between for all three because I'm cool like that. :). I am SUCH a nerd, it is insane. And I got a rice crispy treat because my team did the best in poetry term bingo. It was an invention of the teacher's. don't ask.
Everyone is eating now and having some of the epic thing of popcorn.
So I'll eat now, too.
Bye.

blah'ed again
I'm really bored. I have nothing else to do. Nothing to say, for once. Well, I'd like to say something, but I don't know what it should be. I'm really bored right now.
OOOOH! I know what I can say!!!
The poem I had to memorize for English was Jabberwocky, by Lewis Carroll, whose birth name was Charles Lutwige Dodgeson. He was born in Darbury, Cheshire, England on January 27, 1832, and died on January 14, 1898. He is best known for Alice in Wonderland and the sequel, Through the Looking Glass. This is a poem about a fearsome beast (the Jabberwock) and how a guy kills it. It is written in free verse with a rhyme scheme. There.
I have to say it before I recite Jabberwocky.
I guess I'll do that, too.
Twas brillig and the slithy toves, did gyre and gimble in the wabe, all mimsy were the borgoroves, and the mome raths outgrabe. beware the jabberwock, my son, the jaws that bite, the claws that catch, beware the jubjub bird and shun the fruminous bandersnatch. He took his vorpal sword in hand, long time, the manxome foe he sought, so rested he by the tumtum tree and sat a while in thought. And as in uffish thought he stood, the Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, came whiffling through the tulgey wood and burbled as it came. One two one two and through and through the vorpal blade went snicker snack he left it dead and with his head he came gallumphing back. and hast thou slain the jabberwock? come to my arms my beamish boy o frabjous day calloh callay he chortled in his joy. twas brillig and the slithy toves, did gyre and bimgle in the wabe, all mimsy were the borgoroves and the mome raths outgrabe.
there.
from memory.
i only had to do 20 lines, and that was 28, but I don't care.
i'm doing the whole thing.
and i have to go to class to actually do it.
bye.

Okay, I'm going to rant for all of ten minutes. About what? I have absolutely no idea. I have a habit of putting each sentence on a different line. So I'm going to do that. And this post will be really long. And then I'm going to put this into paragraph form. And I will see exactly how long this would be if this didn't have each sentence on a different line. Sweet. Anyway... I'm bored. Greetings to all you friends from all the many places around the world. How are you today? I'm really bored. So I'm doing this. It is a form of entertainment that I enjoy. I guess. I like to write. I guess you already know that. It was my birthday a few weeks ago. I'm still in high school. I'm really bored. This is really stupid. Not the blog, what I'm doing with the blog right now. Just randomly doing this. I'm going to start the erasing stuff now. Where I actually put it in paragraph form. Okay. Wait no I'm not. Yet. I'm going to make this longer first. Anyway... I'm really bored. I have to go to class soon. Will start deleting now.
Got to go.
Bye.
Got to go.
Bye.
part #4 shya/ valin/ faug
So anyway, I'm going to just randomly rant about what I feel like ranting about.
But I don't know what I want to rant about. This is helpful. Anyway........
I guess I'll type up some more of the Shya/ Valin/ Faug story. Mind you, I'm almost completely winging it from here, because I don't think I have this part typed up. Wait, yes i do. It's on the USB port. The computer on which it's saved got a virus, but I was somehow able to save the two stories onto the USB before mom took it in.
So anyway, here it is:
“When did you live here?” Valin asked Shyasha.
“When I was younger,” Shyasha replied.
“Why did you leave?” he persisted.
“It’s a long story that we’ll have time for when some guts get pounded out of the current ruler.”
Shyasha went up to the wall and hollered, “OY!! YOU!!” up at the guard’s post on the top of the wall.
“I WILL NOT BE ADDRESSED AS ‘YOU!!’”
“WELL, AS YOU’RE OBVIOUSLY NOT THE SAME GUARD THAT WAS HERE WHEN I LEFT, I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO CALL YOU!!”
“NOT THE SAME GUARD? I’VE BEEN HERE SINCE BEFORE THE SCARRED PRINCESS WAS BORN!! HOW LIKELY IS IT THAT YOU LEFT BEFORE SHE WAS BORN? THERE ARE ONLY FOUR PEOPLE STILL ALIVE WHO ARE AS OLD OR OLDER THAN HER!! NOW, WHAT DO YOU WANT?”
“WE WANT TO SEE THE KING OF THE THREE CITIES!!”
“BY WHAT AUTHORITY DO YOU WISH TO SEE HIM? DO YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT?”
“WE DON’T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!! BUT YOU AREN’T THE SAME GUARD WHO WAS HERE WHEN I LEFT!!”
“I AM CEROB!! BY WHAT AUTHORITY DO YOU DEMAND ENTRANCE? AND WHO ARE YOU?”
“BY THE AUTHORITY OF PRINCESS SHYASHA RINKARI, THE SCARRED PRINCESS!!!”
"DID SHE SEND YOU?"
"I SEND MYSELF WHERE I CHOOSE!!! I'M THE PRINCESS!!!"
With that, for the first time in thousands of years, Shyasha lowered her hood. She had dark brown hair that was pulled back in a ponytail. It was long enough to disappear behind her cloak, but the males couldn't see where it went from there. She had chin-length bangs that were swept back by a fabric headband. Her skin was pale, and her round hazel eyes glared upwards at Cerob. The most startling thing about her was the scars. It looked like a bear had slashed the left half of her face, and then someone took a sword and cut a large X over her face.
“Princess?” Faug and Valin gasped in unison.
"Since when?" Faug demanded.
"Since I was born," Shyasha said. "Shut up."
"Good Lord," Cerob muttered. "It's the princess."
There was the sound of a person going down a long, wooden stairway. Then a trapdoor in the wall opened and Cerob's head poked out.
"You're back," he said.
"Yes, I am. Can we come in now?"
"Do you want to see-"
"Yes, I do. Can we, or is it now illegal to admit princesses who chose exile over long and painful death?"
"Fine. But it might hurt."
"I'm ready. We saw him and Dalar and a third on the road. I didn't die. Can we come in now?"
"All right, I guess."
"Thank you."
The door opened. Shyasha pulled her hood back up and the scars, the hair, and the riveting hazel eyes were hidden again as she led the way inside.
That's all for now. It's a chapter change, and I'm not sure what I want to do after that, so it's okay. So yeah.
By the way, for all of you who read this regularly, expect the background of the blog to change a LOT, due to my inability to keep with one thing for more than twenty minutes.
Okay that's all.
But I don't know what I want to rant about. This is helpful. Anyway........

Ungora/ Indigo # 3
Chapter 1-Indigo
"Indigo, time to get up."
"Five more minutes."
"I've already given you twenty. Time to get up."
"Whatever." I rolled over and almost fell asleep again when my mom tugged the blanket off me, exposing my body to the cool dawn air.
"Fine, I'm up, I'm up, I'm awake," I mumbled, sitting up and rubbing my eyes, honestly, I was glad to be awake. My dream had been closer to be a nightmare, with a bunch of dead people and an evil robot type thing that looked exactly like me, but somehow different.
Now I was awake, I knew the basic routine-get my day clothes, wash in the river (here meaning diving in fully clothed and coming right back out and changing in a tree), come back home, get a bag, find edible stuff, bring it back, eat it, and then do whatever it is that my mom wanted me to do, usually involving hunting, fishing, weapon training, going out in the woods, or just something outdoors. I was a vegetarian, but my mom wasn't, so I had to hunt for her. The woods were my home, though, enough said. Mom said I wasn't born here, but I didn't care. I was at home in the forest. I knew every twist and turn of every path and back road and everywhere in between. I knew the right and wrong way to the castle, all the paths that the royals and nobles and everyone else took, all the good hiding places if you accidentally took a wrong turn and nearly ran into one of them, and everything that was basic instinct for a forest-dweller. Most of my community's survival depended on knowing the back roads.
You see, most of my community are outlaws, not because they killed someone or stole something, but because of who they are. They are witches that lived in the towns, elves, fairies, pixies, nymphs, sprites, and centaurs. But there are only two centaurs and three witches, one of them being my mom. The king, Ungora, banned all but warrior elves, hunter elves, and some female nymphs from the countries. And he didn't ban humans. Basically, if its structural anatomy was weird or it could do magic and wasn't working for the government, it was banished from the country. Most of them didn't want to leave, however. They new about the communities in the woods, or at least some of them did, and they went there. Originally there were only three wood communities, comprising mainly of wood elves, wood nymphs, and any sort of creature who belonged in the forest and didn't like civilized live. But when Ungora came into power, the banished creatures in the cities who knew about the forest communities went there and took friends. Since it's been fifteen years since Ungora took the throne, most people had reproduced, and the population exceeded the limits that three communities could hold, so new communities were formed all over the mountains.

blah
Okay, I know I found the awesome "compose" tab, but I'm only going to use it occasionally, because I'm so used to the "edit HTML" tab. So yeah. I'll only use the "compose" tab if I want to use a color that I don't know the HTML sequence for. And because I like typing in this font. And this works for me. Okay that was random.
Anyway....
I'm bored.
I'm listening to Little Women right now. The soundtrack. From the musical. It's awesome.
I'm bored.
Okay, I'm getting repetitive.
I'm going to type up some more of one of the stories, I guess.
Two seconds.
