life
Well, guess what I found out on Saturday that I was too lazy (and too forgetful) to say until now? I'm getting glasses! I don't have horrible eyesight (20/30 without the glasses. I'm nearsighted), but it is rather annoying when I can't see the board in class and I can't see who's yelling at me from down the hall. So I'm getting glasses. I'm getting two pairs because I'm likely to break/lose one pair, so if I break/lose one pair, I can still use the other pair. It was really annoying because I had to wake up really early (okay, eight in the morning) to go to the eye doctor. And I was up till midnight the night before, so I was kind of tired. It didn't affect the test, but it was still kind of annoying. And then I stayed up till midnight on Saturday night because of the cast party. We were doing like memories and paper plate awards and stuff and my paper plate award, once again, had to do with my knitting. It's getting rather old, everyone giving me paper plate awards to do with knitting. Okay, I think this is only my second, but what the heck. Two is more than enough. I know I knit a lot and a lot of people probably see me and think, "hey! A knitter!" but I wish they'd think that I was something else, too. Like that I'm a black belt or that I cut my hair for Locks of Love or something than that. Just something that didn't make me only a knitter and nothing else. That's what it feels like, anyway. I mean, I love knitting. Knitting is great. But knitting isn't everything to me. People just seem to think that, and it's kind of getting on my nerves. I really, really, REALLY hope that I don't get a knitting paper plate award for the end-of-year chorus picnic thing. Because that would be REALLY depressing. Or rather, I would be depressed for the chorus teacher's Paper Plate creativity. I honestly think that he's more creative than that. I HOPE he's more creative than that. I'm PLANNING on him being more creative than that, because if he's not I'm going to be VERY sad.

Robin Hood Video
Well, I just watched the video of Scene 13 for Robin Hood, and I wasn't entirely happy. It's not entirely my mom's fault, and we did fine. But thing is, the camera was entirely on me during the scene even though I only had to react and I wasn't SUPPOSED to be the center of attention. I know I'm always kind of undecided about that, because sometimes I always wish the camera would be on me and sometimes I wish the camera would be on other people, but I was just sitting there the entire time while Prince John and Queen Eleanor and King Richard were doing their thing, and the camera was on me almost the entire time, which I didn't really like because I didn't get to see what their interactions looked like from the front. That's the big thing, though-sometimes you need to zoom in on someone, but if you do, you'll miss something. That's the part that really bugs me. It's not that I wish that my mom hadn't done the video, it's just I wish she would have not kept the camera on me almost the entire time. That's the part that really bugged me. A few summers ago, when I had a decent part in a musical, it was okay for her to zoom because I had a couple big solos. But I was a TOWNSPERSON who didn't have any lines in this, and the camera was still on me almost the entire time. That's the only thing I didn't like.

HISTORY CHANNEL!!
So I was just waching "The Universe" on the History Channel, and it was crazy cool. I wasn't really paying attention, but they were talking about the possibility of other Earth-like planets in the universe. It was rather awesome. They were saying how there would have to be Jupiter-like planets because Jupiter is like Earth's bodyguard against asteroids and stuff, apparently. And Jupiter was't doing so well when the dinos died because I guess the majorly accepted theory is that it was an asteroid that killed them all off. Therer was also something about how they're going to send some sort of bot out into space and all it's going to do is stare at this one constellation and take picture after picture, and thus serves absolutely no purpose except to see whether there's movement to block one of the stars in the constellation or something. So I guess it was searching for something like a solar eclipse or something.
How likely is a solar eclipse?
I have no idea. I have an idea-I'm going to google it. One moment please....
This isn't working.
I can't find anything about chance of Solar Eclipses or anything. There's only stuff like, 'oh, when is the next solar eclipse?' and stuff.
I guess it's not really relevant, because solar eclipses in our solar system probably don't have the same ratio of occurence as in other solar systems.
By the way, Robin Hood went rather awesomely. Well, our scenes went rather awesomely. Except last night when I had to pretend to pass out on another Townsperson and I accidentally knocked over my "Ye Olde Knitting Booke" (which is actually the school's Ye Olde Geometry Booke) and it made this really loud noise. It was rather awkward. But other than that, I think it went rather well, both times we've done it. Two down, two to go. I have to leave in about half an hour to go perform again, for the matinee. I have to stay all day, pretty much. Well, I don't HAVE to stay, but I'm going to. And I'm going to ask my mom for extra money to order Chinese instead of having pizza. It's healthier, and it tastes better. Plus I'm sick of pizza. I don't like to eat pizza excessively, but you kind of have to when it's show week, because it's quick and not horridly exspensive and a lot of people like it.
But I'm getting sick of it.
So I have to go to lunch now.
Bye.

Well, this is post numero 100. To be very honest, I never thought I'd post 100 times. Seriously. I thought I was just going to post a couple times and then be done with it. But then I'd feel really bad about not posting more, and then I'd keep it going. But what the heck. It's post number 100!!!! WOOT! :) :) :)

Ungora/ Indigo #6
Chapter 2-Cacyta
I strode back out of the forest, annoyed at what the idiotic girl had said. I wasn't as incompetent as she seemed to think I was. Neither was Ungora. Even though he was my dad, I still called him Ungora. It's his fault-he didn't want to be called 'dad'. He's not horrid, either. I knew that she was being an idiot, but I couldn't help wondering...what was the other side of the story? I knew from epic amounts of lecturing that most non-humans should be kicked out of the cities by the time they were seven, and I had always accepted that. But now, I was getting curious about what the other half of the story was.
"You took your time," Ungora said when I got back, meeting me in the entrance hall.
"I met one," I said curtly.
"And?"
"And she pissed me off."
"Why didn't you do her in?"
"She made an arguement. I argued back. The end." I shrugged and turned to go to my room.
"Why didn't you do her in, though?" Ungora insisted, following me up the stairs.
"She didn't piss me off THAT much."
"What did she say, exactly?"
"A load of crap about how you're an idiot and the elves and nymphs and whatever else really didn't want to overthrow us before and how my training is crap because I wore my new boots instead of my old and lousy ones."
"Well, those boots are rather nice, dear."
"Can I ask you something?" I turned and asked the question halfway down the hall. I guessed that now was as good a time as ever.
"Sure, anything."
"Are you feeling all right in the head?"
"Why would you want to know something like that?"
"But ae you?"
"Yes. Why?"
"The person in the forest just said some stuff about that sort of thing."
"Don't belive anything she says, or anything that any of the other ones say."
"Whatever."
"Go out tomorrow. Same time. See if you can get her again. If you do, don't let her see you and then take her in and we'll question her."
"Okay." I had decided-I would leave the castle, and let them see me go into the forest, but I wasn't going to go back to the path. I wasn't going to go after them and encounter them unless it was accidental.
Chapter 3-Indigo
I strode home in a very annoyed state. So THAT was the princess. Snooty jerkface. Her decorum teacher defenitely needed to go back to school. Cacyta probably had no way of self-expression, either. Then I remembered what someone had told me-art had been banned. So she most defenitely did NOT have a means of expressing herself. Despite my anger, I felt kind of sorry for her. It must have been kind of hard, not being allowed to do anything with her hands except swordplay.
But who had told me about the art, though?
Oh yeah-Avanna.
Avanna was my friend. She was a scholar elf and healer elf-very smart, and could heal anything. She had been forced out of Jannask, the capital, her home, because of what she was, and because of incompetence in high places (meaning Ungora).

ROBIN HOOD TONIGHT!!!
So Robin Hood is tonight. And, personally, I think it's going to be frigging awesome, because we're just awesome like that. Especially the Townspeople. The Townspeople are going to be THE COOLEST part of the show. No, not just in the show. The Townspeople are going to be THE BEST actors that the Audience has ever SEEN in their LIVES because...um...they're the townspeople. They're poor. And without the Townspeople, there wouldn't be a CROWD for ANY part of the show if there weren't the TOWNSPEOPLE. True, there are also the Bar Patrons, but the Bar Patrons are technically Townspeople as well. But what's really bad is that the girl who plays Maid Marian wasn't at school today. This is bad. I hope she's going to be there tonight. She should be there tonight. We have no understudy for Maid Marian.
If I were a rich man,
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
All day long I'd biddy biddy bum.
If I were a wealthy man.
I wouldn't have to work hard.
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
If I were a biddy biddy rich,
Yidle-diddle-didle-didle man.
I'd build a big tall house with rooms by the dozen,
Right in the middle of the town.
A fine tin roof with real wooden floors below.
There would be one long staircase just going up,
And one even longer coming down,
And one more leading nowhere, just for show.
I'd fill my yard with chicks and turkeys and geese and ducks
For the town to see and hear.
(Insert)Squawking just as noisily as they can. (End Insert)
With each loud "cheep" "swaqwk" "honk" "quack"
Would land like a trumpet on the ear,
As if to say "Here lives a wealthy man."
If I were a rich man,
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
All day long I'd biddy biddy bum.
If I were a wealthy man.
I wouldn't have to work hard.
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
If I were a biddy biddy rich,
Yidle-diddle-didle-didle man.
I see my wife, my Golde, looking like a rich man's wife
With a proper double-chin.
Supervising meals to her heart's delight.
I see her putting on airs and strutting like a peacock.
Oy, what a happy mood she's in.
Screaming at the servants, day and night.
The most important men in town would come to fawn on me!
They would ask me to advise them,
Like a Solomon the Wise.
"If you please, Reb Tevye..."
"Pardon me, Reb Tevye..."
Posing problems that would cross a rabbi's eyes!
And it won't make one bit of difference if i answer right or wrong.
When you're rich, they think you really know!
If I were rich, I'd have the time that I lack
To sit in the synagogue and pray.
And maybe have a seat by the Eastern wall.
And I'd discuss the holy books with the learned men, several hours every day.
That would be the sweetest thing of all.
Lord who mad the lion and the lamb,
You decreed I should be what I am.
Would it spoil some vast eternal plan?
If I were a wealthy man.
Yeah I was just listening to that-If I Were A Rich Man from Fiddler on the Roof. It's a rather awesome song.
Now I'm listening to "Magic Dance" by David Bowie from Labryinth. That, too, is a rather awesome song.
Yeah....
bye for now.

Ungora/ Indigo #5
"You haven't got me surrounded. And you were trying to get me off guard again. I'm telling you, it won't work."
"How do you KNOW?"
"I'm a forest nymph, remember? I'm connected to the forest. I can tell that you haven't got me. And I know not to take my eyes off you because you're a warrior and you're a hunter, and you're going to make a move as soon as you think I'm not paying attention."
"How do you know that?" Her voice was suspicious.
"Trial and error. That's the best way to learn, as I've found out. I guess you were trained by all the top hunters and warriors in the kingdom."
"Yes, as a matter of fact, I was."
"They forgot one major lesson."
"That being...?"
"Your clothes. You need air circulation so you don't overheat. See, you're already breaking a sweat and I'm fine. And you shouldn't wear your best shoes."
"But they said-"
"They make more noise. The prints on the bottom are strong, too. It'll be easier for someone to track you if they wanted to."
"What are you doing here?"
"I live here. You don't. So my question is, what are YOU dong here?"
"Trying to corner one like you."
"May I inquire as to why?"
"The King doesn't like you people. I don't either, for that matter. He wants you all rounded up and sold as slaves. It serves you right. This forest is horrible, too. When I'm queen, this all will go."
"You don't belong here. And you're going to annoy the forest if you keep going on like that."
"The forest doesn't have feelings."
"You don't know that. And you don't belong here, so I recommend you leave."
"I have as much right to be here as you do. More, in fact. I'm on a mission, you're living a worthless life. The King's going to track all of you down and-"
"If he's doing it, why isn't he here instead of you? Why make the PRINCESS, of all people, come out and track us down?"
"I don't question the King. Neither should you. He trusts me, and that's all that matters."
"Well, if he's not a coward-"
"I didn't say that he was a coward, I would never-"
"You like him, don't you?"
"He's my FATHER, of course-"
"If he's so great, why did he-why IS he-exiling so many innocent creatures who didn't do anything wrong?"
"Because they AREN'T innocent, they're a threat!"
"HOW are they a threat?"
"They wanted to throw over the kingdom!! And the newborn would cause a rebellion if he didn't do something!"
"They wanted to go on with life! By throwing them out, he's giving them reason to rebel, if anything!"
"They won't rebel, they're miserable!"
"That's what makes people rebel!"
"What do you know?"
"A fat lot more than you do, it seems."
"You're wrong."
"Oh, really? Tell me, what exactly has Daddy told you about the mean elfies and the horrible others?"
"They're against the authorities, because they've gone wrong in the head-all of them. Theran, the old king, gave them too much freedom. They had to be put right. The world is better off without them living near civilized people."
"What if I told you that they were just the same as you, except not royal? That they only wanted to rebel after they were exiled for no reason? You're an elf. You shouldn't stand for this."
"I'm not an elf."
"You are. You're a warrior elf, remember? You said so yourself. And your ears are just like mine. Ungora's the one who's out of order. Tell him that from me."
"You're wrong," she repeated.
With that, she turned and left.

well...
Well, I LIVED!
Yesterday was hectic to the extreme, but I LIVED!
I was late, and it was hard, and I was up till ten finishing my geometry homework, but, in the end, you can't say I didn't survive.
I don't know why, but this computer says that the first part of "didn't" is a spelling error. For some reason. And it also says that the first part of "wasn't" is a spelling error, and all the conjunctions like that.

the amazing over-committer!!!
Yes, it is true-I have finally succeeded in super-over-committing myself. Well, okay, not overcommitting, but having to travel at the speed of light in order to get to both a MANDATORY Robin Hood rehearsal and a MANDATORY chorus concert in DIFFERENT places within the space of ten minutes. This isn't going to work. Okay, it IS going to work. Positive thinking, here. GAAAHH! STRESS!!!
:P.
:P.

If that's what it is-13 the musical
If that’s what it is/then that’s what it is/you’re probably right to just forget it/let's face it you’ve worked so hard and now you’re scarred/ and free of any hope/I guess you should mope/forget what you’ve planned/hey, I understand//if that’s what it is/then that’s what it is/though that’s not the way I choose to see it/I have my own view that works with all these jerks and unenlightened fools/I make my own rules, I do what I can/if I hit the wall then maybe its all a part of the plan/tomorrow will come, today will be gone/and so I put one foot in front of the other/one foot in front of the other/and just keep walking on/if that’s what it is/if that’s what it is/what also is true/what also is true/is it may not always be disaster/I realize that now it is but how it is/Isn’t how its got be/Another day comes, another day goes/And if I get teased or hurt or lied to or punched in the nose/I say I wont cry/I cry until dawn/And then I put one foot in front of the other/one foot in front of the other/and just keep walking on//I'm becoming a man/Maybe all that it means is/I face the world for what it is/And not what I wish it could be/I’m becoming a man/Watching everything fall into place/I swing, I miss/I’ll get through this/I almost guarantee//One day I’ll be thirty/One day I’ll be fine/One day I’ll make fun of this dramatic life of mine/One day I’ll be older/And then I’ll write a book/About the choices that I made/The choices that you made/And the chances that I took/The chances that you--*no idea what happens here, i've never seen this musical*/If that’s what it is/Then that’s what it is/At least until Disney can re-write it/We put our shoes and socks and take the knocks/And wish that it would change/And maybe it will/And maybe it can/Until then you trust that all this is just becoming a man/You take your best shot/Cause look what you’ve got/Go on and put one foot in front of the other/One foot in front of the other/One foot in front of the other/One foot in front of the other/The crip, the geek, the jew and his mother/And just keep walking on
Okay I know my coloring is wonky.
But this is a three-part piece, so....
Okay
Blue is Archie. He's cool.
Red is Patrice. She is also cool.
Purple is both Archie and Patrice. No, I don't think there's anything between them aside from them being friends and wanting Evan to not be so hard on himself.
Evan is in green. At that point in time, from what I know, he's feeling not so great because he just messed everything up. Or so he thinks.
And black is all of them singing together as one happy amigo-ship.
The end.
I like this song. It is a rather awesome song. My favorite line ever is "If that's what it is/ then that's what it is/ at least until Disney can rewrite it". It's Archie's line and it's rather awesome. At least I think so.
I'm random, I know.
but....
I'M ALMOST AT A HUNDRED POSTS!!!!!!!
And I think I also just set a personal record for number of posts in a day.
What the heck.
It's the music's fault.

go your own way-Fleetwood Mac
Loving you
Isn't the right thing to do
How can I ever change things
That I feel
If I could
Maybe Id give you my world
How can i
When you wont take it from me
You can go your own way
Go your own way
You an call it
Another lonely day
You can go your own way
Go your own way
Tell me why
Everything turned around
Packing up
Shacking up is all you wanna do
If I could
Baby Id give you my world
Open up
Everything's waiting for you
You can go your own way
Go your own way
You an call it
Another lonely day
You can go your own way
Go your own way
This is THE BEST energy song I have yet encountered. And it is verifiable as an awesome song. Ask anyone who's heard it.
Anyway.....
from now on, as long as I remember to do it, I might do song lyrics on my posts.
I'm a music nerd.
I can't help it.

three ring circus
Gonna have a three-ring circus someday,
People will say it's a fine one, son.
Gonna have a three-ring circus someday,
People will come from miles around.
Lions, tigers, acrobats, and jugglers and clowns galore,
Tightrope walkers, pony riders, elephants, and so much more...
Guess I got the idea right here at school.
Felt like a fool when they called my name,
Talkin' about the government and how it's arranged,
Divided in three like a circus.
Ring one, Executive,
Two is Legislative, that's Congress.
Ring three, Judiciary.
See it's kind of like my circus, circus.
Step right up and visit ring number one.
The show's just begun. Meet the President.
I am here to see that the laws get done.
The ringmaster of the government.
On with the show!
Hurry, hurry, hurry to ring number two.
See what they do in the Congress.
Passin' laws and juggling bills,
Oh, it's quite a thrill in the Congress.
Focus your attention on ring number three.
The Judiciary's in the spotlight.
The courts take the law and they tame the crimes
Balancing the wrongs with your rights.
No one part can be
more powerful than any other is.
Each controls the other you see,
and that's what we call checks and balances.
Well, everybody's act is part of the show.
And no one's job is more important.
The audience is kinda like the country you know,
Keeping and eye on their performance.
Ring one, Executive,
Two is Legislative, that's Congress.
Ring three, Judiciary.
See it's kind of like my circus, circus.
Gonna have a three-ring circus someday.
People will say it's a fine one son,
But until I get it, I'll do my thing
With government. It's got three rings.
