NOT COOL

Dude!!! They somehow managed to shut down MyLifeIsG.com!!! THIS IS NOT COOL!!! AT ALL!!! It was the coolest site in eternity!!! It was this site where people share nice stories and stuff. I loved it because it was all warm and fuzzy. BUT IT ISN'T THERE ANYMORE!!! What is this world coming to? Deleting websites that are actually nice? I bet F My Life is still around, just because people like laughing at other people instead of laughing with them. Typical. I hate America. They delete cool sites that spread the love instead of have people rant about annoying stuff. Okay, this blog is sort of like that for me. But that's not the point. The point is that F My Life is COMPLETELY stupid because it is all like, "negative humor!!! Hooray!!!" And My Life Is G is all like "I had an awesome day today. Here's why. Hooray!!!" That is WAY more productive, nice, and overall awesomer than F My Life, because it's all like, celebrate the joys. But NOOOOO. It's freaking NOT THERE ANYMORE because admins somewhere are really STUPID and not publishing good STORIES. I hate this. But, unfortunately, I have to go put on proper shoes for a four-hour dance rehearsal. This is brilliant. Just brilliant. I'll probably post tomorrow. But still. Spread the love!

halloooo!

I had no time to do anything except what was already planned this weekend. It was the worst thing ever. I had rehearsal and babysitting and I had to go to church and I had to go to this really, really long girl scout meeting about the Switzerland trip that we are going to do next year. It was interesting, but the leader of the troop that was telling us about it talked SO FREAKING MUCH! It was crazy. Anyway, I have rehearsal for like four hours today. This is going to be SO MUCH FUN! Not. The show goes up next week, so it's understandable, but still. It stinks. We did costumes on Saturday, and my Office Girl dress is the most unflattering thing ever. But, they all are. And the flapper dresses are really cool. They're all homemade, I think. We're borrowing a lot of the costumes from the school that won the regional award for the best costumes for the same show a couple of years ago. But not all the costumes are borrowed from the other school. I brought in this dress that I made for this 20's day thing in 7th grade that I made for extra credit. So it works. Hooray! Anyhoo, my flapper dress is dark brown with this gold- tan fringe. It is a very weird color, but whatever. Apparently brown looks good on me. I really have no idea why. But apparently it does.

EPIC WIN!

So my TA opened Secret Santa presents today. We couldn't when we were originally going to because there were three extra days of break because of the snow, so we decided to do it today instead. Friday TAs are the fun ones, so it worked. My Secret Santa gave me the best present in the WORLD: a Captain Jack Sparrow (yes, Captain) doll that she had made herself. It was the BEST THING EVER. I'm not kidding. Even though it wasn't a spitting image of him, it didn't really matter, because the whole thing was hand made so it all worked. EPIC WIN! So in other news, we had a two hour delay today, so I actually got to sleep in for a change. Because of that and I went to bed kind of early, I was able to get like ten hours of sleep and actually grow a bit. So that was kind of awesome. With the character shoes on and everything, I think I am one of the tallest people in the cast of our musical. Hooray! Our show goes up in two weeks. AIEEE! I hope we can be ready by then. I don't know if we'll be able to. But it will hopefully work out all right and then everything will be cool.

sigh.

I hate being so tired. It's always so miserable and tiresome and depressing all the time, even though it's sunny today, it's not doing a lot for my mood. I can't sleep yet because I have rehearsal. I tried to go to sleep early last night, but I forgot to go to take a shower til like ten, which is the normal time I go, so I didn't get to bed til like eleven. Life sucks with chronic not-enough-sleep-ness. Note to self: go to bed early tonight over pain of death and misery! I'm not entirely sure that will work, but whatever. The extra exclamation points should do it... not. Anyway, I really need the sleep. I think it's just habit that I don't go to bed til like eleven even though I really need to go earlier. I really want to sleep more, but it's a vicious cycle: I wake up tired, so I drink coffee, but then I have to stay at school an extra three hours, so I hang out on the computer at home longer, so I get to bed later, and also because I'm still caffinated, so I sleep less, so I wake up tired so I can do it all again. I don't know what else to do except force myself to get off the computer. I my dad agreed to force me to get off the computer at 9:30 tonight so I could get to bed earlier, but I'm not entirely sure whether he actually will or not. I doubt it. But it could work. PLEASE LET IT WORK! I really need to stop talking to myself. Another thing on the List of Stuff I Should Probably Do. Sigh. I hate high school.

life

So anyway, I'm bored. What an amazing piece of information. I've only said that about a million other times.

But rehearsal is taking over my life. Seriously. I have it three hours a day, six days this week. Next week it's between three and four hours, six days, and then the week after it's five hours for the first three days and then the show goes up. I like being in shows, but I hate the part where you have to rehearse constantly for the last three weeks before the show goes up. It's seriously the most annoying thing ever. I love it but I hate it. It's one of those complicated things that a lot of people don't really get why people do them but they do them anyway, you know?

Anyway, it is also hard to believe that I have been blogging for almost a year now. I really can't believe it. I started this on a whim and now look at it. Wow.

I also am always really tired because I never get enough sleep. It's one of the annoying things about being in a musical-you always get home late so then you always stay up late and always try to sleep in and then you're almost late for school. It really stinks. Even though there are a million things against being in a musical, I still really love it. I really don't know why. But I do. It's awesome.

And now I have to go to class. Great.

post number 300

Wow. 300 posts already? That's amazing. I really didn't think I'd make it that far. I'm serious.

Anyway, in other news, today we're probably going to be performing the condensed Shakespeare plays that we had to write in English class. My group is doing Romeo and Juliet. I'm Romeo. And Capulet. And one of the narrators. I get to be a dramatic brat and sing to one of my friends! Yay!

Anyway, I'm psyched to FINALLY get to go to creative writing, aka next block. I love it because it's such a small class and we basically get to do whatever we want in terms of writing. It's not really structured, which is what I love about it. In middle school classes, we'd have to do a poetry unit and then do a short fiction unit and lots of other boring things and not be able to do the type of stuff we wanted when we wanted to do it, and we'd have to follow the teacher in whatever they decided, and never be allowed to see the same characters twice, plus there would be like 20 people in the class instead of 3, so it would just be more annoying. So that's why I like my current creative writing class, to which I am going in about twenty minutes. YAY!

Post Number 299

Well, I'm back at school. It's kind of weird to be back. And there's the fact that I have to give out all of my teacher gifts today and tomorrow because I wasn't able to in December because of the snow days. So it's kind of awkward.

And I also have a THREE HOUR REHEARSAL today, which is even LESS fun than coming back to school. I'll have the chance to dance in the new character shoes that I got in New York, though, so that's good.

Being in New York was really fun. I got to see my cousin, whom I hadn't seen since 2008. So it was cool to see him. We also saw "Wicked" and "Shrek." They were both really good. I really couldn't say which was better. They were both AWESOME. I liked this one song from "Shrek" that was called "Who I'd Be." It's the song right before intermission, and it's also the sort of song that is the ballad sung by the seemingly-invincible character, in this case, Shrek. But Donkey and Fiona come in near the end. I loved it. I currently have the entire "Shrek" Soundtrack on my iPod. I know. I liked it that much. I already have all the good "Wicked" songs on my iPod, so I don't really need to buy any more. But the entire "Shrek" soundtrack was good, so I bought the whole album. GO ME!

We also went to Dylan's Candy Bar, the M&Ms World, the Hershey's Store, Bloomingdale's, and Borders, even though we didn't buy anything at the last two. Bloomingdale's was my mom's idea. I already have all the clothes I need, thanks to Christmas. And I am also a true chorus kid: I didn't get the Shrek T-Shirt, baseball cap, coffee mug, or even the souvenir program thing. No, I really am a true chorus nerd, because I got Shrek: the Musical: The Song Book.

I know I'm weird. But I don't care.

my life would suck without you

Guess this means you're sorry
You're standing at my door
Guess this means you take back
All you said before
Like how much you wanted
Anyone but me
Said you'd never come back
But here you are again

'Cause we belong together now, yeah
Forever united here somehow, yeah
You got a piece of me
And honestly,
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you

Maybe I was stupid for telling you goodbye
Maybe I was wrong for tryin' to pick a fight
I know that I've got issues
But you're pretty messed up too
Either way, I found out I'm nothing without you

'Cause we belong together now, yeah
Forever united here somehow, yeah
You got a piece of me
And honestly,
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you

Being with you
Is so disfunctional
I really shouldn't miss you
But I can’t let you go
Oh yeah

'Cause we belong together now, yeah
Forever united here somehow, yeah
You got a piece of me
And honestly,
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you

'Cause we belong together now, yeah
Forever united here somehow, yeah
You got a piece of me
And honestly,
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you

hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy New year!!!!!!

new year (almost!)

Okay, so I've figured out a plan: I'm going to stay up til midnight, as I always have. Then I will post again soon after midnight, and it will count as the First Post Of 2010. HOLY COW!

Anyway, I went to a Japanese restaurant with my friend and her family this evening. It was really fun. My friend and I had a Shirley Temple Chugging Contest. I won, even though I had a brainfreeze. The cook also threw bits of shrimp at us and we attempted to catch it in our mouths. For the first time in a while, I wasn't able to do it. I don't know what happened.

I'm super psyched for tomorrow. My mom doesn't think I should stay up til midnight because I have to wake up at eight tomorrow in order to get to the train station on time. But I don't really care. I can take a shower tonight and then use the spare time to double check everything.

Right now I'm listening to songs from "Phantom of the Opera". I love it. Right now Music of the Night is playing. My favorite song is either Learn To Be Lonely, Music of the Night, Angel of Music, or Think of Me. I really couldn't decide if I had to pick one of those as my all time favorite.

Okay, I'm going now.

Happy almost new year!

Happy New Year's Eve! I won't be able to post tomorrow because I'm going to New York. I'm not going tonight because train fares are way up and I really hate super huge ginormous crowds like there's sure to be if we go to Time's Square tonight at midnight. So we're staying around here and hanging out with friends and going to a Japanese restaurant, like we usually do. New York should be fun, especially because I'll get to see my cousin. I haven't seen him since last September, before I donated my hair and before he moved to New York, so it'll be cool to see him again. We're going to see two Broadway shows while in New York: Wicked and Shrek. My mom kept trying to convince me to see Billy Elliot instead of Shrek, but I didn't want to, because Shrek closes the day we leave, and Billy Elliot is running until at least August, so it would've been a wasted chance to see Shrek. Plus I liked the Disney movie, and the music seems good, so the musical should be good. Plus it's Broadway, so it's bound to be amazing.

post number 294

Okay, I really need to get out of the house. I've been inside for most of the day for the last two days, and it's really starting to bug me how much TV I've been watching. I know that I really shouldn't stay in front of the screen for so long for so many days in a row, but it's gotten into a habit that I really need to break. You see, my only problem's that there's nowhere to go to get out of the house that's not super cold and thus very, very, very annoying. So does anybody have any ideas? My mom probably would, but she's not back yet. See, there is nowhere to go when you only have a dollar. The student fare on the bus is sixty cents, but you need exact change. I could take a walk, which is probably what I'm going to do. But I really need a destination to get me out of this hole. As in, I still need to take a walk. I just need to walk somewhere. Like, not aimlessly wandering through the forest paths like I have before. But walking to Starbucks. Or like the grocery store or something. But just somewhere to go, something to do. Something to get me off my fat and lazy butt and into the world for a change. Do you know what I mean?
